Mode of Examination -
According to the AIBE XIV 2019 exam pattern, the mode of AIBE is offline. This implies that the candidate will have to mark the answers in the answer sheet using a pen or pencil. No computers will be used to conduct the examination.
Apart from Hindi and English, a candidate can opt for any of the nine regional language options available. This option can be chosen by the candidate during the registration process for AIBE application form. The regional language options are - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya, Assamese and Punjabi.
Type of Examination -
Unlike any other law examination, AIBE is an open book examination, that is, a candidate can carry reference material, books, notes, etc to the examination hall and refer to these for solving a question.
Duration of Examination -
Candidate will be given 210 minutes to attempt the examination. However, if a candidate completes his/her exam before time, then he/she is allowed to leave the examination early.
Type of Questions -
The questions in the AIBE XIV 2019 will be of objective nature, that is, candidate will be given a choice of four answers out of which he/she would have to choose the best suited answer. Such questions are also called as the multiple choice questions or MCQs.

Total Number of Questions -
According to the AIBE 14 exam pattern 2019, candidates will be tested on the basis of 100 questions. These questions will be asked from around nineteen topics or subjects. Candidates can refer to the AIBE 2019 syllabus to know the details.
Total Marks and Negative Marking -
As per the exam pattern of AIBE XIV 2019, every question in the examination will be of equal weightage. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark, however, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers or unattempted answers. The total marks for the examination is 100.

The Bar Council of India hasn't released the results of AIBE yet , it will announce AIBE Result 2019 XIV (14) tentatively in the month of October in online mode only. Tentatives dates for AIBE 2020 are-

Once you have applied for the AIBE which is conducted by Bar Council of India and have paid the fee against the enrollment or registration of the examination, you can appear for the exam only once in that academic year provided you meet the other eligibility criteria for the concerned exam. The exam fee that you pay is for appearing for the AIBE exam only once. If you fail to clear the examination in the first attempt then you have to wait for the next year and apply again afresh by filling out a new application form and paying the subsequent exam fee and then appear for the exam in the next attempt. The basic eligibility criteria for AIBE is that the candidate should possess a full time LL.B degree from any institution from any state which is recognized by the Bar Council of India.
