AIBE 22 Application Form: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they fulfil the AIBE 22 eligibility criteria before filling out the AIBE form. As per a significant judgment delivered by the Supreme Court of India on September 20, 2024, candidates who are in the final year of their law programme and do not have any backlogs are also eligible to complete AIBE registration. According to the revised AIBE 22 eligibility criteria, final-year law students and candidates without an enrolment certificate issued by the State Bar Council are eligible to register for AIBE 22.

Candidates are required to upload certain documents while filling out the application form for AIBE 22. The document list is given below -

• Passport-size photograph
• Signature
• LLB graduation certificate
• LLB mark sheets
• LLM certificate and mark sheet (In case of additional qualification)
• Advocate ID card (If issued by the State Bar Council)

Instructions to Fill AIBE 22 Application Form

BCI published detailed instructions for AIBE 22 registration on its official website. Applicants must go through these instructions before filling out the application form. Some of the instructions are given below.

• Candidates can only register online for AIBE.
• Interested applicants must have a valid mobile number and email ID to complete AIBE 22 registration.
• Candidates must keep the mobile number and the email ID active till the end of the application process, as these details cannot be changed. The mobile number and the email ID will be used for all communication with the candidate.
• Only one registration is allowed for each candidate
• Candidates must provide accurate information at the time of AIBE registration 2026. Any false information in the AIBE 22 application form can lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
• For candidates with 80% disability, 20 minutes of extra time will be provided during the exam.

Special Instructions for Final Year Law Students and Candidates without Enrolment Certificate

• The AIBE 22 registration link for all candidates will remain the same.
• Candidates who are law graduates but have not enrolled in any State Bar Council are required to submit a scanned copy of an undertaking, which is available for download on the official website.
• Candidates who are already enrolled in a State Bar Council must upload their self-attested enrollment certificate. Such candidates need not submit the undertaking.
• Final year students with no backlogs have to submit self-attested scanned copies of their mark sheets from the first semester of the law course till the 5th semester (for 3-year LLB) and the 9th semester (for 5-year LLB) and also submit the undertaking.
• Candidates who have passed their law degree but have not obtained the degree certificate must submit self-attested scanned copies of their mark sheet for all semesters along with the undertaking.
