The Bar Council of India (BCI) has closed the AIBE 20 application process on October 31, 2025. Eligible candidates could apply online for AIBE 20 (XX) through the official website: allindiabarexamination.com. The direct link to the application form is given below. The last date for AIBE 20 (XX) exam fee payment and correction in the registration form was November 1, 2025. The AIBE 20 (XX) admit card will be issued to registered candidates on November 15, 2025. The AIBE 20 exam will be conducted offline on November 30, 2025 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Earlier, the registration window for AIBE 20 was October 28, 2025. The AIBE 20 registration 2025 commenced on September 29, 2025. The AIBE exam fee 2025 is Rs. 3,500 for general and OBC candidates and Rs. 2,500 for SC and ST candidates, including the bank charges. Final-year law students (without backlogs), law graduates who have not received their degree and graduates who have received their degree but have not enrolled or have surrendered their enrolment certificates are eligible to apply for All India Bar Examination.

While filling out the AIBE 20 application form 2025, candidates must provide details such as bar council registration number, education qualification details, communication address, etc. Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the All India Bar Examination in offline mode at exam centres across the country. Candidates who want to apply for AIBE must have registered in a state bar council and obtained the enrollment number. Candidates who qualify AIBE 20 will be awarded a Certificate of Practice to practise law in India.

Before filling out the AIBE form, candidates must ensure they fulfil the AIBE 20 eligibility criteria. The AIBE eligibility criteria include the requirements pertaining to minimum education qualification, age limit, and enrolment. As per a significant judgment delivered by the Supreme Court of India on September 20, 2024, candidates who are in the final year of their law programme and don't have any backlogs are also eligible to complete AIBE registration. According to the revised AIBE 20 eligibility criteria, final-year law students and candidates without an enrolment certificate issued by the State Bar Council are eligible to register for AIBE 20.

The AIBE(All India Bar Examination) is conducted only for law graduate students to get a certificate for Practice to practice law in court in India. This exam is conducted in offline mode, including 100 multiple-choice questions and has no negative marking. Students need to score at least 45 out of 100 questions and 40 for SC/ST candidates.
The registration for this exam has officially closed for the 2025 exam session.
