Get UpdatesTelangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test or TS PGLCET is a law entrance exam to conduct LLM admissions in participating colleges in Telangana. TSCHE has opened the TS PGLCET 2024 application form on March 1, 2024. It had earlier released a detailed notification on its website regarding the TS LAWCET exam date and other important dates. The last date to fill the TS PGLCET application form without late fee has been extended till May 4, 2024. However, candidates can apply for TS PGLCET 2024 by paying a late fee that increases with time from Rs 500 till Rs 4000 till May 25, 2024.
Osmania University will conduct TS PGLCET 2024 on June 3, 2024 on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) . TS PGLCET is accepted by over 30 law colleges and universities in Telangana. These law colleges offer around 750 seats in the LLM programme . TSCHE will issue the notification for the exam in online mode. Candidates have to register online and appear for the computer based test. The exam will be followed by a centralised counselling and seat allotment process.
The online-based, TS PGLCET 2024 will be of 90-minute duration. The question paper of TS PGLCET 2024 will have 120 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The topics in the syllabus for TS PGLCET are derived from various subjects of law such as Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Public International Law, Mercantile law, Crimes and Torts, IPR and Labour Laws.
The result of TS PGLCET 2024 will be released online at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Scores obtained by the candidate in the exam will be used to prepare TS PGLCET merit lists, which will be used to shortlist candidates for counselling and seat allotment.

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prescribes the eligibility criteria of TS PGLCET 2024 for admission to the LLM programme offered by participating colleges. The eligibility requirements would pertain to minimum qualifications, age limit domicile and other such requirements the candidate has to fulfil for admission.

As listed in the above table, candidates must have cleared a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB in order to be eligible for LLM. Final year students are also eligible to apply provided that they submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission. There is no age limit. Candidates also need to satisfy domicile requirements if they are applying under local candidate category.
General and OBC candidate are required to score at least 25 % in TS PGLCET 2024 entrance exam to be considered for ranking. However, there is no such stipulation for SC and ST candidates.
In case of a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-A of the exam will be considered for deciding the rank. If the tie persists candidates may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and senior candidates (by age) may be given first preference.

Such candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria must duly fill out the TS PGLCET application form and submit it before the specified deadline. The TS PGLCET 2024 answer key will be released in online mode. The TS PGLCET answer key 2024 will contain official answers to all the questions asked in the examination. So, candidates by comparing their answers with those given in the answer key will be able to calculate estimated scores and thus chances of admission; one may use previous years' cutoff data for this purpose.
An option to challenge the answer keys of TS PGLCET is also given to the candidates. After considering all the objections, the final answer key will be published.
The authorities will declare the result of TS PGLCET 2024 in online mode at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. TS PGLCET result 2024 will be available in the form of individual rank cards. It contains details like the qualifying status of the candidate along with the sectional and total score, and rank. Based on entrance exam scores, TS PGLCET merit lists will also be prepared which will be used to shortlist candidates for counselling and seat allotment process.

Mode of Counselling: Offline
The TS PGLCET 2024 counselling will be conducted in online mode. Candidates who have a valid score in TS PGLCET 2024 exam will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
Candidates will have to register for web options using the counselling registration number. The TS PGLCET counselling is the last stage of the admission process during which around 30 law colleges will come together to offer approximately 750 seats.
TS PGLCET 2024 counselling would comprise steps such as exercising web options, entering and locking of choices, and seat allotment. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and the options opted for by the candidate.
During counselling, document verification will be conducted. It is mandatory for all candidates to successfully complete the process, or else they will not be considered for admission.

TS PGLCET is the short form used for the Postgraduate common law entrance test conducted by Osmania University under the aegis of TSCHE.
There are total 580 seats in LLM via TS PGLCET. Since you are from SC category you have pretty good chances of getting a free seat. All the best.
