TS LAWCET Result 2026 (OUT) - Qualifying Marks, Toppers, Analysis
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the TS LAWCET 2026 results today on June 4, 2026, on its official website: lawcet.tgche.ac.in. The TS LAWCET 2026 result time was around 4:00 PM. The results are prepared based on the final answer key. Candidates can download the TS LAWCET 2026 rank card by entering their hall ticket number and date of birth. To qualify for the Telangana State Law Entrance Test, candidates must score a minimum of 35% marks. Only those candidates who score more than the qualifying marks will be eligible for ranking and participating in the TS LAWCET counselling 2026 and seat allotment. However, it must be noted that there is no minimum qualifying mark requirement for SC/ST candidates. Osmania University conducted the TS LAWCET 2026 on May 18, 2026, in online mode on behalf of TSCHE.

Qualifying Marks in TS LAWCET 2026
The general and OBC category candidates are required to secure minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for ranking. TSCHE prescribes a minimum qualifying mark of 35%, which translates to 42 out of 120 marks. However, there is no such minimum qualifying mark prescribed for SC/ST candidates. Only those candidates who score above the minimum qualifying cut-off will be invited for counselling and seat allotment.

TS LAWCET Merit List 2026
Based on the TS LAWCET 2026 result, the authorities will prepare a TS LAWCET merit list 2026, which specifies the details of the shortlisted candidates in the order of their ranks obtained in the exam. In case two or more candidates have obtained the same score, they will be ranked by following the tiebreaker rule.
TS LAWCET 2026 Tie Breaker
The candidate who obtains higher marks in Part C will be ranked higher.
If the tie does not break, marks obtained in Part B will be considered.
If the tie persists, then the age of the candidate will be considered, and the senior candidate will be given preference during admission.
TS LAWCET 2026 Result: Normalisation of Marks
The TS LAWCET 3-year LLB was held in two shifts. In order to account for the effect on a candidate's TS LAWCET 2026 result due to the difference in difficulty level of the two exams, the authorities follow a normalisation process. The normalisation process for TS LAWCET result 2026 is given below.

TSCHE announced the names of the TS LAWCET toppers at the time of announcing the results. The TS LAWCET 2024 toppers have been announced through a press release by TSCHE. A score between 90 and 100 would be a good score in LAWCET. PGM Ambedkar topped the TS LAWCET 3-year LLB 2024 with a score of 97.49 marks. TS LAWCET 2026 Counselling
TSCHE will announce the TS LAWCET 2026 counselling schedule soon as the TS LAWCET 2026 results are declared. The TS LAWCET counselling 2026 is a centralised process. Only those candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in the TS LAWCET 2026 counselling process. Candidates will be required to register online for the counselling process from the official website and pay the counselling registration fee. They will also be allowed to provide college preferences in online mode. TSCHE will publish the seat allotment based on the ranks obtained and college preferences given by candidates.
