TS LAWCET Counselling 2019 - The Osmania University, Hyderabad, has started with the TS LAWCET 2019 counselling for admissions to three year and five year integrated LLB programmes from October 11, 2019. Candidates mentioned in the merit list and fulfilling the cutoffs announced by the university have to attend the counselling of TS LAWCET 2019. Candidates should note that they will not be sent separate call letters. The official notification regarding TS LAWCET 2019 counselling, which will be updated in this page as well, will act as the final call for counselling. Candidates who will be allotted a college will be able to download the provisional allotment letter. The university will also give an opportunity to candidates who did not participate in the phase one to exercise their options and complete their formalities in the second phase of counselling of TS LAWCET 2019 as well. Candidates will be required to report to the allotted college with the allotment letter by the given deadline, else their admissions will be forfeited.
TS LAWCET, also known as Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test, is conducted by The Osmania University every year for candidates who wish to seek admissions in its three year and five year integrated programmes. TS LAWCET 2019 will be conducted in the third week of May 2019.

As first step involved in TS LAWCET 2019 counselling, candidates will first have to get their documents verified at the specified helpline centres. Following are the documents which candidates will have to carry for verification. The list of reporting centres will be specified by the university in its official notification.

The second procedure which candidates have to complete is to submit their preferences for the college they want to pursue the programme in.
Firstly, candidates need to click on the official link given below to exercise their web options.
Upon clicking on the link, a login window will appear wherein candidates will have to enter their TS LAWCET 2019 hall ticket number, date of birth, rank card, and click on ‘login’ button.
Then an additional security window will appear. Candidates will have to select the platform on which they would like to receive the five digit pin. They will have to select either “registered mobile” or ‘registered email ID”.
Candidates are advised to keep this pin confidential.
If candidates want to update their mobile number, candidates will have to click on “new mobile”. The university will send the pin to the new mobile number.
Candidates will have to enter the pin number on the space given in the security pin window and click on the ‘verify’ button.
At this stage, they will be required to verify the information which was submitted at the time of registration.
Then they will have to click on the ‘I agree’ checkbox, then ‘submit’ button and continue to ‘web options’.
The most crucial part of counselling of TS LAWCET 2019, that is, the web options page will now appear.
Candidates will have to click on ‘add options’ so that the list of colleges course wise, college type, and fee type will appear.
To select or unselect the colleges, candidates will have to tick the select/unselect checkboxes.
Candidates can select multiple colleges from the list.
To change the priority of the colleges, candidates can use the ‘up’ and ‘down’ buttons to drag the colleges as per their preferences.
Click on ‘add options’ button to add more colleges.
After entering their preferences, candidates will have to click on ‘save and continue’ and then ‘confirm’ button to save the current options.
A list will appear showing the names of colleges candidates have selected. To make any changes, candidates can click on ‘back’ button.
Candidates will then have to click on the ‘final submit’ button to submit the options. After this step, candidates will not be able to make any changes in the list.
Candidates can then take a print out of the options by clicking on the ‘print’ button.

After submitting the preferences, candidates will be allotted a college on the basis of the options given by them.
The university will also release an allotment list mentioning the names of the candidates and colleges allotted to them.
Then candidates will have to download the provisional allotment letter and then report to the college by the stipulated deadline.
The university will also conduct a second phase of counselling for the following candidates.
Candidates who had secured a seat in phase one of web counselling but want to move to another college.
Candidates who did participate in phase one of web counselling of TS LAWCET 2019 but could not secure a seat.
Candidates who had been selected for counselling and yet did not participate in the first phase.
Candidates who were allotted a seat through phase one of TS LAWCET 2019 counselling but did not report to the allotted college.
Candidate who had been allotted a seat in phase one but cancelled it.
Options which were exercised for phase one will not be considered for second phase of counselling.
Candidates will have to exercise fresh options for each phase of TS LAWCET counselling 2019.
If candidates were not satisfied with the allotment in the first phase of counselling, they need not exercise that option in the next phase.
Candidates can exercise the options for even those colleges where vacancies are not available.
As the candidate secures a seat in the phase two of counselling of TS LAWCET 2019, he/she will lose claim on the college earlier allotted.
If candidates fail to report to the allotted college with the provisional allotment letter by the date, they will lose their claims on both the colleges allotted in the first and second phase.
Candidates mentioned in the merit list will be called for TS LAWCET counselling 2019 only if they fulfil the cut off.
Candidates will be required to pay a counselling registration fee in online mode.
Then candidates will have to submit their college preferences in online mode.
The university will release an allotment list mentioning the names of the candidates and the colleges they have been allotted.
Candidates will also have to download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college by the stipulated deadline to finalize their admissions.
