Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) will notify the TS LAWCET syllabus 2025 on its official website in its information bulletin. The TS LAWCET 2025 syllabus has sections on general knowledge and mental ability, current affairs, and aptitude for the study of law. The TS LAWCET exam syllabus is the same for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. However, the TS LAWCET entrance exam syllabus 2025 differs for both programmes in terms of the difficulty level. The difficulty level of the TS LLB 3 years syllabus is of graduate level. The difficulty level of the TS LAWCET 5-year syllabus is of intermediate level. The TS LAWCET 2025 question paper will have multiple-choice questions. Telangana Law Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Osmania University for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB admissions into law colleges of Telangana. The scores of TS LAWCET will be used by over 30 law schools in the state.
There are three sections in the syllabus of TS LAWCET 2025 namely GK and mental ability, current affairs, and Aptitude for study of law. The section on legal aptitude for study of law has the maximum weight in the TS LAWCET syllabus 2025 with 50% of the questions from this section. The TS LAWCET 3-year LLB syllabus is the same as the TS LAWCET 5-year LLB syllabus. The difference exists in the difficulty level. Osmania University will conduct the TS LAWCET 2025 exam in online mode. The exam will be conducted at around 64 exam centres, across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As per the exam pattern of TS LAWCET 2025, there will be a total of 120 questions spread across the three sections as per their weight in the syllabus. There are three sections namely General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude for Study of Law.
There are 30 questions each in the general knowledge and mental ability and Current affairs section whereas the legal aptitude section contains 60 questions.
The sections on general knowledge and mental ability, and current affairs are for 30 marks each whereas the section on aptitude for law is of 60 marks each.
The difficulty level of TS LAWCET 2025 for 5 year LLB is intermediate level and for the 3 year LLB the difficulty is of graduation level. The pattern and syllabus are the same for both.
