For many aspiring law students getting into an NLU is the first preference for pursuing BA LLB. NLUs have been set up on the lines of IIMs and IITs with the objective of delivering quality legal education. They also offer attractive pay packages to passing out students as several top law firms visit the campus for the NLUs placements. NLUs except NLU Delhi and NLU Meghalaya admit students into the BA LLB and LLM courses through the Common Law Admission Test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

To get admission in LLB course first you need to complete a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 45 to 50%. Then you need to search for your desired collage. some LLB collages requires entrance tests like CLAT or LSAT . After giving the entrance exam you need to meet the certain merit based criteria.
