Educational qualification - The applicant should graduate in any discipline from Punjab University or any other university recognized by the Bar Council of India and Punjab University.
Minimum marks required in qualifying examination - The candidate must have secured at least 45 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (graduation).
However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Backward category or PwD category are given 5 per cent concession in terms of minimum marks.
Age limit - The criteria of age limit is governed by the rules of Bar Council of India. So, there is no age limit for appearing in the PU LLB entrance test.
PU LLB eligibility criteria for candidates appearing in graduation final year/final semester
It must be noted that the candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (graduation final year) are also eligible to appear in the entrance test. However, such candidates will have to produce the documents of qualifying examination at the time of PU LLB counselling and seat allotment. If such candidates do not score the minimum qualifying marks in graduation, then they will also be disqualified from the further admission process.
