AILET Counselling 2020 - National Law University Delhi will conduct the counselling of AILET 2020 in offline mode starting around the 4th week of May 2020. AILET 2020 counselling and seat allotment will be conducted in multiple rounds (last session had six rounds) and will be open to candidates who have qualified in the AILET 2020 exam. To be eligible for participation in AILET counselling 2020, the candidate needs to have qualified in AILET 2020 entrance exam.
All such qualified candidates will be issued counselling call letters, which the candidate has to download and get a printout of.
Further, admission officials will also make an AILET 2020 merit list for the purpose of seat allotment.
The candidate has to next attend the offline counselling venue along with the AIlET 2020 counselling call letter and all essential documents as requested.
Exam officials will conduct a document verification process wherein the details shared by the candidate during application submission will be cross checked. If any candidate is found to be sharing false information, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
As per AILET 2020 merit rank of the candidate, he/she will be allowed to make a choice from the available options.
The candidate will be allotted seats as per their merit rank and also option opted for admission.

The AILET 2020 counselling will be held around the 4th week of May onward.
To participate in AILET counselling 2020, the candidate needs to have qualified AILET 2020 entrance exam. Note that all such candidates will be issued counselling call letters.

The National Law University, Delhi will conduct All India Law Entrance Test - 2020 (AILET - 2O2O)" for admission to Five Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D Programme on Sunday, May 3, 2O2O from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at various test centres across the country. The Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) and the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) are both entrance examinations for undergraduate law courses in India. AILET is considered tougher than CLAT. The basic difference on the basis of Institutes is that CLAT has 19 participating Universities but AILET offers admission only to the National Law University in Delhi.

For admission in NLU, Delhi you have to prepare for the national level entrance test AILET 2020. It is conducted for both LLB, LLM and PhD. programmes. Also, it is help on the first Sunday of May and that is what is proposed for this year as well.
Here are the details of the exam. The application starts in the first week of January 2020 and will go on till the second week of April 2020. After you get your admit card in the very next week, the exam will be held in the first week of May 2020. The announcement of the results will depend on the course. For instance, results for LLB will be declared in the 3rd week of May 2020 while for LLM, they will be declared in the 1st week of July, 2020 and PhD in the subsequent week.
If you are applying for LLB, you should have passed your 10+2 exam from a recognised board or an equivalent examination with the aggregate of 50% marks in the final examination. Even if you have given the following in March 2019/April 2019, you are eligible to apply.
For LLM, you need an LLB degree or equivalent law degree with an aggregate of 55% marks or 50% marks depending on your caste.
