AILET Counselling 2025: National Law University (NLU) Delhi has commenced the seventh round of AILET BA LLB 2025 counselling after publishing the seventh AILET 2025 merit list on July 8, 2025 on its official website. Candidates are required to pay the fees by July 10, 2025. The university has published the seventh AILET 2025 merit list for LLM programme on July 7, 2025. NLU Delhi had published the sixth AILET 2025 merit list on July 5, 2025. The university has also published the AILET LLM provisional merit list on July 7, 2025. The shortlisted candidates were required to pay the prescribed fee by July 9, 2025. Earlier, NLU Delhi published the fifth merit list of AILET 2025 on July 02, 2025. Earlier, the university released the merit list for the fourth round of AILET 2025 counselling on June 16, 2025. NLU Delhi prepares the invitee list of candidates for participation in the AILET counselling 2025 process in a ratio of three times the number of seats. Earlier, the university published the merit list for the first round of AILET 2025 counselling on December 27 and closed the AILET 2025 counselling registrations on December 22, 2024. Through AILET 2025 candidates will be admitted to BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM programmes of the university. Earlier, the AILET 2025 result was declared on December 12, 2024.
NLU Delhi will conduct five rounds of AILET 2025 counselling. For each round of counselling, NLU Delhi will publish an AILET merit list of selected candidates who will be required to complete the admission formalities to finalise their admission. The university may add more rounds of AILET 2025 counselling if seats remain vacant or if foreign seats are converted to general category seats. The students will be admitted based on their scores obtained in AILET 2025 result and corresponding rank. NLU Delhi will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test on December 8, 2024 in offline mode.

Candidates have to meticulously follow all the steps in the counselling process of AILET 2025 to successfully gain admission. Below are the steps in the NLU Delhi counselling process in detail.
Publication of AILET 2025 Counselling Invitee List: After declaring the AILET 2025 result, NLU Delhi will prepare an invitee list of candidates shortlisted for participating in AILET 2025 counselling. The invitee list is prepared based on the candidate’s rank in AILET 2025. The number of candidates shortlisted for the counselling process will be three times the number of seats in each category. Candidates can check whether they are invited for NLU Delhi counselling by logging into their AILET account. NLU Delhi will also notify the shortlisted candidates on their registered email ID and mobile number.
Registration: Candidates are required to visit the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in and register for the AILET 2025 counselling through their login. The candidates are required to pay the prescribed counselling registration fee and upload the required documents. The AILET 2025 counselling registration fee is Rs 30000 for general/J&K candidates and Rs 20000 for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates. Only those candidates who pay the fees and register for counselling will be considered for seat allotment.
Publication of Merit List: The third step in AILET counselling 2025 is the publication of the AILET 205 merit list. The university will publish the merit list for each round of NLU Delhi counselling. Candidates can check the merit list by visiting the university’s official website
Payment of Admission Confirmation Fee: The last step in the counselling process of AILET 2025 is the confirmation fee payment. The AILET merit list is provisional. Candidates who are included in the AILET merit list are required to pay the admission confirmation fee of Rs 50000 within the stipulated deadline to confirm their admission. After the admission confirmation fee is paid, the candidate will be issued a provisional admission letter. The candidate is required to sign each page of the admission letter and upload it to their AILET account.

The number of candidates invited for AILET counselling 2025 is three times the number of seats. After the declaration of the AILET 2025 result, NLU Delhi prepares an AILET 2025 invitee list based on the AILET 2025 scores. Such candidates will be sent an email and SMS informing them of being shortlisted for AILET counselling. The candidates can also check the counselling invitation through their login.

Next, upload a self-attested copy of the required documents in PDF format to complete counselling registration.

Category certificate (for reserved category candidates)
The various fee components in the AILET 2025 counselling process include the counselling registration fee, confirmation fee and the university fee. The university fees to be paid at the time of admission is adjusted against the counselling registration fee and the confirmation fee already paid by the candidate.

The counselling registration fee will be refunded to those candidates who registered for the AILET 2025 counselling process but could not secure a seat. The AILET counselling fees will be refunded to the same bank account from which it was paid.
Candidates are allotted seats in AILET 2025 counselling as per their ranks obtained in the AILET 2025 exam. However, if two or more candidates have the same score, then the following tiebreaker rule is applied to rank the candidates.
The candidate with a higher score in the logical reasoning section will be ranked higher.
If the tie persists, then the senior candidate in age will be assigned a higher rank.
If the tie remains unresolved, then computerised lots will be drawn to determine which candidate will be assigned a higher rank.

hey, Having a CLAT rank of 21,000 and an SC category rank of approximately 1,000, you may get a good chance by applying to NLUs in which SC category seats remain unfilled. At this rank extend, there are routinely open positions at state NLUs or more current NLUs with reserved seats SC candidates. Focus on appying to NLUs such as NLU Jodhpur, NLU Odisha or NLU Tamil Nadu, which occasionally have vacancies in saved categories. As well, monitor the CLAT guiding entry in terms of opening overhauls and participate in spot rounds properly.
For admission to its five-year BA LLB degree, Arham Law College in Pune does accept AILET results. But the college also takes into account other admission tests, such as MH CET Law and CLAT. Verify certain requirements (such as minimum scores and application procedures) directly through the college's official channels, as admissions procedures might differ.
