Symbiosis International (Deemed) University will notify the SLAT counselling 2026 schedule separately for each participating Symbiosis Law School. Each SLS will conduct its own SLAT 2026 counselling and admission process. After the SLAT 2026 results are declared, each SLS will notify the schedule for PI round. Only those candidates who have paid the program registration fee for a particular SLS at the time of filling up the SLAT application 2026 will be eligible to attend the PI round at the SLS for the said programme. The SLAT merit list is prepared based on the consolidated scores of the candidate in SLAT 2026 and the PI round. Shortlisted candidates are required to pay the admission fees and complete formalities to finalise their admission. Through the SLAT 2026 counselling process, candidates will be admitted into BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes. Four participating Symbiosis Law Schools accept the scores of Symbiosis Law Admission Test. These four colleges include SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad.
Aspirants must carefully track the SLAT 2026 exam dates. The counselling for SLAT 2026 involves steps such as slot booking, appearing for PI and uploading of documents, publication of merit list and completing the admission process.

The counselling process of SLAT 2026 consists of the following steps:
Personal Interaction round - The PI round is held in online mode. Shortlisted candidates are required to book the slots and upload the required documents before appearing for the PI round. SIU has removed the Written Ability Test from its selection procedure.
SLAT Merit List 2026: After completion of the PI, the authorities publish the SLAT merit list which contains the names of the selected candidates. Such candidates are required to get their documents verified and pay the course fees to complete the admission process. The merit list is prepared based on the consolidated scores in the exam and PI.

Law aspirants participating in the SLAT counselling 2026 are required to carry the stipulated documents in original along with a set of photocopies. After verification, the originals will be returned to the candidates. The list of mandatory documents is mentioned in the table given below.

The SLAT 2026 selection process is a two-stage activity. Candidates will be selected after consolidating their scores in the SLAT 2026 and PI round. Each of these rounds have a different weightage in the selection process as given in the table below.

Each of the four Symbiosis Law Schools publishe the SLAT 20265 merit list based on composite scores of the candidate in the admission test and PI. The merit list is published programme-wise. The SLAT merit list is provisional. The shortlisted candidates have to complete further steps in SLAT 2026 counselling process namely getting their documents verified and paying the stipulated admission fee.
There are 1080 SLAT seats available in the four Symbiosis Law Schools. These institutes offer 5 year integrated law programmes in BA LLB and BBA LLB. The seat matrix of each of the SLAT participating institutes is given below.

Individuals who opt for a career as Family Lawyer is charged with drafting prenuptial agreements to protect someone's financial interests prior to marriage, consulting on grounds for impeachment or civil union separation, and drafting separation agreements.
A cyber lawyer handles legal issues related to the internet, such as cybercrimes, data breaches, and online privacy. They prepare legal documents, represent clients in court, and advise businesses on cybersecurity compliance. The career requires a law degree, specialisation in cyber law, and strong tech knowledge.
