SLAT Counselling 2025 - Dates, Selection Process, Documents Required

The SLAT 2025 counselling and admission process will be conducted separately by the participating Symbiosis Law Schools. Candidates who are shortlisted based on the score in SLAT 2025 are required to participate in the PI round which will be notified by the SLAT colleges separately on their college website. The SLAT merit list 2025 will be prepared based on the composite scores in the admission test and SLAT PI. The shortlisted candidates will be required to get their documents verified and pay the admission fee as per the SLAT counselling 2025 schedule published by the Symbiosis Law Schools. SLAT 2025 result is scheduled to be declared on December 26, 2024. Through the SLAT 2025 counselling process, candidates will be admitted into BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes. Four participating Symbiosis Law Schools accept the scores of Symbiosis Law Admission Test. These four colleges include SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad. It must be noted that there is no SLAT counselling fee. However, at the time of filling up the SLAT application 2025 candidates have to pay a programme registration fee of Rs 1000 for each of the SLS they wish to seek admission. This programme fee is in addition to the SLAT registration fee.
SLAT Counselling 2025 Dates
Aspirants must carefully track the SLAT 2025 exam dates. The counselling for SLAT 2025 involves steps such as slot booking, appearing for PI and uploading of documents. If a candidate completes all the steps then they can find their names published in the SLAT 2025 merit list. Given below are important dates of SLAT Counselling 2025. SLAT Counselling Process 2025
The counselling process of SLAT 2025 consists of the following steps:
Counselling registration and fees: At the time of SLAT registration, candidates have to apply for each programme at each of the SLS separately. This is in addition to the registration fees paid for the SLAT 2025 exam.
Personal Interaction round - The PI round is held in online mode remotely. SIU has removed Written Ability Test from its selection procedure. Students are given admissions based on their SLAT scores and PI round performance.
SLAT Merit List 2025: After completion of the PI, the authorities publish the SLAT merit list which contains the names of the selected candidates. Such candidates are required to get their documents verified and pay the course fees to complete the admission process.

SLAT 2025 Selection Criteria and weightage
The SLAT 2025 selection process is a two-stage activity. Candidates will be selected after consolidating their scores in the SLAT 2025 and PI round. Each of these rounds have a different weightage in the selection process as given in the table below.

SLAT Merit List 2025
Each of the four Symbiosis Law Schools publish the SLAT 2025 merit list containing names of shortlisted candidates based on composite scores of the candidate in the admission test and PI. The merit list is published programme wise. The SLAT merit list is provisional. The shortlisted candidates have to complete further steps in SLAT 2025 counselling process namely getting their documents verified and paying the stipulated admission fee. The SLAT 2025 merit list is prepared based on 70% weightage to SLAT exam scores and 30% weightage to PI round scores.
