To start off with the preparation, candidates should firstly go through the exam pattern of SLAT 2019. They should familiarize themselves with structure with key components of the question paper like maximum marks, number of questions, duration, syllabus, weightage and marking scheme. Now that the candidates have gone through the exam pattern of SLAT 2019, they should keep the following exam day guidelines in mind. If candidates miss out on these guidelines, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
It is compulsory for candidates to bring at least two colour printouts of the SLAT 2019 admit card on the day of examination. Candidates should note that black and white printouts of the admit card will not be accepted by the university.
Along with the admit card, candidates will also be required to bring valid identity proofs. Any of the following will work as a valid identity proof - Driving License, Passport, Voter ID card , Aadhar card, PAN card, School/College ID card.
Candidates should also have their recent photographs affixed on the admit card. The photographs should not be older than three months.
Candidates will not be allowed to bring electronic items inside the examination hall.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before forty minutes into the exam.
Once candidates leave the exam hall after submitting the answer scripts, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall again.
Candidates who will complete their SLAT 2019 registration by the second week of March 2019 will get to know the exam centre allotted to them in the third week of March 2019 through an SMS.
But candidates who complete their registration after the second week of March 2019 will get to know the exam centre allotted to them in the second week of April 2019. Candidates need to note this information so that they make travel plans accordingly.
It is advised that candidates visit the exam centre a day prior to that of the examination This will help candidates to know the routes properly and commute to the centre without any hassles.
