AILET Eligibility Criteria 2020 - The National Law University, Delhi has prescribed the eligibility criteria for AILET 2020. Candidates going to appear in the law entrance exam of NLU Delhi must fulfil the eligibility criteria of AILET 2020. The university offers BA LLB and LLM programmes through the All India Law Entrance Examination(AILET). As per the AILET eligibility criteria 2020, candidate applying for BA LLB should have completed Class 12. Those, applying for the LLM programme should have completed graduation degree in law. Apart from the educational qualification, the eligibility of AILET is expressed in terms of minimum marks, age limits etc. Candidates who fail to fulfil the required eligibility criteria will be disqualified even if they clear the AILET 2020. AILET 2020 is a gateway for admission to the prestigious NLU Delhi. Since the examination is conducted for admission to both undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes, the AILET eligibility criteria are specified separately for both the law programmes.

AILET 2020 eligibility criteria for undergraduate law programme (BA LLB)
To be able to attempt the AILET 2020 for the undergraduate programme, candidates must meet the following requirements of the AILET eligibility criteria 2020
Minimum Educational Qualification - The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized institute. This will be considered as the qualifying examination for appearing in the test.
Minimum Marks Required - Candidate must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination.
Those who belong to reserved categories also need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying
Candidates appearing in their qualifying exam are also eligible to appear in the entrance test. However, admission will be offered only if the candidate fulfils the rest of eligibility criteria such as minimum marks required parameter and others.
Age limit - There is no upper age limit to appear for AILET 2020.
AILET 2020 eligibility criteria for postgraduate law programme (LLM)
For those who wish to appear for the LLM entrance examination, the eligibility criteria of AILET 2020 is as follows
Educational Qualification - The candidate should have completed the LL.B degree (5-year integrated LLB or 3-year LLB) from an Institute recognised by the Bar Council of India.
Minimum Marks Required - Applicants who belong to the General/ OBC category, the minimum aggregate in their qualifying examination should be at least 55 %. Applicants who belong to the SC/ ST/ PWD category, the minimum aggregate required in their qualifying examination is 50%.
Those appearing for the final examination of LL.B degree course are also eligible for appearing in the AILET 2020. However, admission will be subject to fulfilling the minimum marks criteria.
Age Limit - There is no upper age limit for AILET PG.

What is the date of AILET 2020 exam?
AILET 2020 Exam that was scheduled on 18 August 2020 has been postponed till further notice in the view of current COVID-19 pandemic situation. Students will be notified at least 10 days prior to the date of conduction of Exam.

remote proctored test mode. The admit card for appearing in AILET 2020 are going to be issued on July
27. the web form of AILET 2020 has been extended till July 7.
AILET is conducted once during a year for admissions to 5-year integrated (BA LLB) and LLM law
programmes offered by the institute. The BA LLB program features a seat intake capacity of 70 seats
which will be filled supported AILET 2020 scores. Further, there are 10 additional seats reserved for
Foreign Nationals which will be offered through direct admission supported merit.
Foreign nationals are exempt fro appearing in AILET 2020. The LLM program has 70 seats which will be

If you already filled the form AILET 2020 then you dont need to apply again. To get admission in NLU, Delhi you you are required to give AILET only.
AILET is held once a year for admissions to the 5-year comprehensive (BA LLB) and LLM legal programs offered by the university. what a good score for ailet admission sc candidate
The good score in Ailet is candidate shall secure minimum of 40%( for sc and sc candidates ) of the total marks in the AILET to become eligible for the admission . Students appearing or having passed class 12 with minimum 50% marks are eligible for the exam .
