AILET Eligibility Criteria 2019 – National Law University Delhi will announce the AILET 2019 Eligibility Criteria by the first week of January 2019. The university will announce the eligibility criteria of AILET 2019. Candidates appearing in AILET 2019 are advised to read and understand AILET Eligibility Criteria 2019 before proceeding to fill the application form of AILET 2019. Candidates will get to know about the minimum marks, qualification and age required to appear in All India Law Entrance Test. It is advised to the aspirants to read each and every line of the eligibility criteria of AILET 2019. It should also be noted that if any candidate fills the AILET 2019 Application Form without reading the AILET 2019 Eligibility Criteria otherwise the admission of the candidate can be cancelled even at the later stages of admission. Aspirants of AILET 2019 are hereby informed that the facts and figures in this article of AILET are as per the previous year’s data and are subject to change. Candidates appearing in AILET 2019 to secure a seat in BA LLB programme need to take a look here to know the qualification and age bar required -

  • A candidate needs to qualify 10+2 with Senior Secondary System or equivalent examination from a recognized board

  • Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in his/her qualifying degree

  • There is no age bar to appear in AILET 2019 as per the Supreme Court’s stay on age bar in 2017

Candidates appearing in AILET 2019 to seek admission in the postgraduate law programmes need to take a glance at the eligibility criteria of AILET 2019 for LLM programme mentioned here -

  • A candidates needs to possess a LLB degree from any recognized university recognized by Bar Council of India

  • The law applicant should have scored at least 55 percent marks in the qualifying degree

  • For the candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD), the university gives 5 percent relaxation and they need to score 50 percent in their qualifying degree

  • There is no age bar to appear in AILET 2019 to seek admission into the postgraduate law programmes
