5 Year LLB Course Fees in National Law Universities

NLUs have been established to improve the quality of legal education in India in line with global standards. While the first NLU was established at Bengaluru in 1987, the number of law universities has grown to 26. NLUs conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to admit students into the 5 Year Integrated BA LLB, LLM and PhD courses. On the other hand, some NLUs such as NLU, Delhi, conduct their own law entrance test.

The NLU, Delhi fee structure for 2024 has set the annual tuition charge for foreign students from SAARC nations at rupees equivalent to USD 6000. The annual tuition price for international students from non-SAARC countries has been set at the rupee equivalent of USD 12000.

Apart from NLUs, there are also several government law colleges and university departments across India that offer law courses such as Government Law College, Mumbai, and Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. A 3 year LLB course fee in government colleges or a 5 year integrated BA LLB course is comparatively cheaper as one can see in their fee structure.
