SLAT Application Form 2020 - Symbiosis International University will release SLAT 2020 application form tentatively in the fourth week of January 2020. Aspirants will have to fill the online application form through the official SET website, While SLAT application form will be made available for a fixed duration, applicants will have to submit their application form on or before the final date of submission. Filling the application form of SLAT 2020 is a bit long process, and includes a few steps, for eg. applicants will have to register themselves and fill in their personal details, educational qualification along with uploading the photograph and signature in order to be considered for SLAT 2020 exam. Further, it should be noted that, if an application is filled with incorrect information and submitted thereafter, it will be subject to rejection, thus putting the whole year preparation in great peril. Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for law is conducted for admission to 5-year integrated law courses offered by Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS). As of 2019, there are 4 Symbiosis Law schools that together offer a total of around 900 seats to the candidates who become successful in SLAT 2020.

SLAT 2020 - Eligibility criteria for BA LLB / BBA LLB

Before we go into the detailed SLAT application form, it is very important to read at the SLAT eligibility criteria 2020. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for SLAT 2020 admissions. Below SLAT 2020 eligibility criteria is given.

  • The minimum educational qualification for SLAT 2020 is Intermediate with at least 45% (40% - For candidates belonging to the SC/ST category).

  • Students, who are going to appear in board exams of class 12th are also eligible, Such candidates will be asked to produce the documents of their qualifying exam (Class 12) at the time of counselling and seat allotment process.

  • There is no age limit to appear in SLAT 2020 exam

How to fill the SLAT application form 2020?

Filling the application form of SLAT is a bit lengthy as it includes registration, filling personal details, fee payment and document upload, for simplification, the step by step procedure of filling SLAT 2020 application form is given below.

Registration -

  • Visit the official website and click on ‘Apply now’ to register.

  • Click on ‘Register’, and fill the registration form as appeared in the new window.

  • Enter your name, mobile number, email id, category and city prefered test city.

  • Upload your scanned colour photo in .jpg, .jpeg, or .png format. Photo size should be up to 100kb. Photos above standard size will automatically resized by the system

  • Click on ‘Save and Continue’ to complete registration.

you will receive an id and password on registered email id and mobile number, keep these details safe as you will need to access your application form, admit card result later.

Filling the SLAT 2020 application form

  • After successful registration, you will see the application form window where you will have to fill in the information as asked in the form.

  • Fill your name, educational qualifications, date of birth, address, programme of law etc.

  • After completing the application form, check that all the information is filled correctly, especially check for spelling mistakes in your names, address etc.

Application fee payment

The next step is to pay the application fees in online mode or offline mode. For online payment, a payment gateway will be provided in the application form, while in offline mode, the candidates can pay the application fee through demand draft

  • Choose the mode of payment from ‘make my payment’ tab.

  • For online payment, candidates can pay by using credit/debit card/net banking.

If the payment mode is selected as offline, candidates will have to send Demand Draft to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Pune. the detailed address for submission of Demand Draft is given below.

  • While doing the offline payment, choose ‘DD’ in ‘make payment tab’

  • Take the print out of payment advice form. Fill in the details, sign and send along with the ‘DD’ to the below-mentioned address.

The SIU will authenticate the payment and confirm you in turn by sending a confirmation mail after the demand draft is accepted.

SLAT application form 2020 - Fee structure

An institute may offer one or more programmes so, if a candidate is opting for more than one entrance test, the fees for the other entrance test will have to be paid separately.

For eg. A candidate who is a graduate in engineering will be eligible for both SLAT and SET engineering. If he/she applies for both the programmes, the fees will have to be paid separately.

SLAT 2020 application form - Campus registration

After completing the application form, the candidates will also need to register themselves for the programme and campuses they are applying for. Only after campus registration, eligible candidates will be called for personal interview and written aptitude test.

  • Candidates will have the option to choose any colleges out of the list for admission.

  • The registration fees for college and programme registration is Rs. 1000.

  • Candidates can pay the registration fee in both online and offline mode.

  • In offline mode, Demand draft will have to be submitted by the candidate, processed in the name of Symbiosis Test Secretariat.

Note - The programme registration fee can also be paid after the closing of the payment for SET/SLAT/SEED/SITEEE 2020. And for each programme fee, candidates will have to pay registration fee separately.

SLAT Application form - Reservation policy

Applicants should be aware of the reservation policy of SIU for entrance test. The seat distribution will be governed by the reservation policy of SIU.

As per the SLS Nagpur official website, 25% seats of the programme will be reserved for who are domiciled in Nagpur.

What after SLAT Application form 2020?

SLAT 2020 exam will be conducted tentatively in the first week of May 2020. After submitting the application forms, the conducting body will release SLAT admit card 2020 tentatively in the fourth week of April 2020. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards of SLAT in online mode by entering their login id and password that were created at the time of filling the application form of SLAT.

Question: How many colleges participate in the SLAT exam?


Presently, there are 4 Symbiosis Law Schools that participate in SLAT. The participating colleges offer admission in undergraduate programmes of law, ie BA LLB and BBA LLB.

Question: How many law seats are available in Symbiosis Law School, Pune


As of 2019, there are 300 seats in SLS, Pune. The college offers BA LLB (180) and BBA LLB (120) programme at UG level.

Question: Can I apply for two symbiosis entrance test in the year?


Yes. you can apply for two tests in the same year. You will have to pay fees for each programme separately. After the declaration of SET result and counselling is over, you will have to choose any one programme of your preference.

Question: Can I modify my application form after submitting it once?


No, you cannot modify your application once you have paid the application fees or after the closing date of application.

Question: I have lost my login password, how can I retrieve my password?


You should click on ‘Forget Password’. The new window will ask your contact information to send you a confirmation OTP. After entering the OTP at the appropriate section as given in the page, you will get back your application form and recreate a new password.

DRDO conducts a Scientist Entry Test ( SET) on all India basis for the recruitment of scientists in ' B '. All students having a Bachelor's degree or a MSc degree and are below 28 years of age can take this exam .You will be tested on the subject chosen B.Tech ( Engineering discipline) and MSc (science discipline).
So you can apply for DRDO with your MSc degree choosing your subject .

what is the percentage required for giving the SET exam 2020

Hello dear aspirant,

At least 50 percent marks are required in 12th boards in any strea. or any equivalent examination like Diploma  to be eligible to give the SET examination. However Candidate appearing in 12th boards and last year diploma examination are also eligible to give SET.
