TS LAWCET Application Form 2020 - Osmania University will release TS LAWCET 2020 application form, tentatively in the third week of March 2020. Eligible law aspirants of TS LAWET will be able to apply online through the official application portal. The application forms will be accepted for a fixed time duration and candidates will have to submit their application forms along with fees payment within this period. Candidates will have to go through a few steps like fees payment, filling up the application form, and form submission to complete the registration and application form filling process. TS LAWCET - Eligibility criteria

TS LAWCET offers two law programmes at UG level, namely, 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated LLB course. The eligibility criteria for both these courses will vary as per their requirement. Candidates must read the complete eligibility criteria of the course they are applying for, and, only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria one should apply for TS LAWCET 2020. The course-wise eligibility criteria is given below.

TS LAWCET eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB course

Educational qualification

  • The candidate should have completed any graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% in case the candidate is from SC/ST category).

  • If any candidate has secured less than 45% in graduation, he/she should have passed any additional graduation or post graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45%

  • Students who are going to appear in their qualifying exam (final year of graduation) may also appear in the TS LAWCET exam. However, the admission to such candidates will be given only if they satisfy the above mentioned educational qualification along with the required aggregate marks.

TS LAWCET eligibility criteria for 5-year LLB course

Educational qualification

  • The candidate should have passed intermediate with 45% marks (40% for SC) or any other educational qualification as recognized equivalent by the university or the Board of Intermediate examination, T.S.

  • Candidates going to appear in the board examination this year are also eligible to apply for TS LAWCET. Such candidates will have to provide proof of their educational qualification as mentioned above during the admission process.

Other eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2020

Nationality and Domicile

The applicant should be an Indian national and should also satisfy the local/unreserved status requirement as given in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order.

Age limit

There is no age limit to appear in the TS LAWCET exam 2020.

TS LAWCET application form - How to apply?

The application form will be made available on the official website of TS LAWCET. Candidates will have to follow a few steps to complete their application process and submit it. Broadly, there will be following 4 steps that a candidate will have to follow.

  • Application fee payment

  • Know your payment status

  • Filling up the application form

  • Printing the application form

Step by step procedure to complete the TS LAWCET application form is given below.

Step 1 - Application fee payment

Candidates will have to pay the application fees first. While the application fee for candidates belonging to TS LAWCET is 800, SC/ST candidates will have to pay 500 as application fees. There are two ways candidates can pay the application fees. One may pay by using TS - online centre or the other option is to pay viva card/net banking mode.

To pay using card or Net Banking follow thee below mentioned steps.

  • Click on the link: lawcet.tsche.ac.in

  • In the first page, click on ‘Application fee payment’

  • A new window will appear, where you will need to fill in your personal details and choose a payment type.

  • After filling the details, click on ‘proceed to payment’, a new tab will open containing the payment-related information.

  • Fill the bank and card related details including CVV and complete the payment by clicking on ‘Pay now’.

After successful payment of application fee, you will be redirected to the new page containing application link. Click on ‘Proceed to Fill application’.

Fees payment using TS - AP Online Centre

  • TS - AP centres are online centres for fees payment. Candidates will need to select a nearby TS - AP online centre and visit personally while carrying the following things.

  1. Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination

  2. Name of the Candidate

  3. Father’s Name

  4. Date of Birth

  5. Mobile number

  • You may choose your programme and remit the fee amount from the TS - AP centre

  • Collect the fee receipt from the payment centre. And it should have a transaction number printed on it.

  • Now, visit the official application portal and to fill the online application form and check the payment status.

Step 2 - Know your payment status

After completing the fee payment, candidates can check their payment by clicking on ‘payment status’.

  • By clicking on ‘Payment status’ a new window will open.

  • Enter the enrollment/hall ticket number and mobile number and click on ‘Check Payment Status’.

  • Upon clicking ‘payment status’, you will see the payment reference id and status as ‘success’

Step 3 - Fill application form

Once you click on ‘Proceed to Fill Application’, you will be taken to the application form window, alternatively, you can also apply on any other day by directly starting from step - 3. To fill the online application form you will have to enter the details like father name, mother's name, Address, Bank details, qualifying exam and other education qualification along with the 3 exam centres of your preference.

  • After filling the above-mentioned details, just tick the declaration block and click on preview/submit.

  • By clicking on ‘preview/submit’ candidates will be able to see their application form as it was filled. Make sure that every information is filled correctly.

  • Click on the ‘modify’ button, only if you find any errors in your application form. In this case, you can correct the information and then click on ‘Confirm/Freeze’.

  • By clicking on ‘Confirm/Freeze’, the application will be submitted successfully and a pop-up containing registration number will appear.

Step 4 - Printing the application form

After submitting the application form, candidates can print and download their filled application form.

  • From the pop-up note, write down the registration number for future use and click on ‘Print Application’

  • On clicking ‘Print Application’, candidate will be able to see the receipt of his application form, Now click on ‘Print’ or you can also download the application form.

The same application page can be printed again later simply by clicking on print your application form. Candidates will need to enter their payment reference ID, mobile number and date of birth to print or download the TS LAWCET 2020 application form.

Important points to remember

  1. The TS LAWCET application will be filed and submitted in online mode only.

  2. There will be an online mode for payment of fee. Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card options will be made available for fee payment. Apart from this TS online centre will also available for fees payment.

  3. All details should be filled correctly. Submitting incorrect information may subject to rejection.

  4. While selecting the exam centres, choose in the order of your preference only. The first preference should be filled in the first option. Similarly, the other two centres should be filled.

  5. The exam centres are subject to the maximum intake capacity, once the intake capacity is full, the centre will not be available for candidates to select. So, it is advised to apply early in order to get the desired exam centre.

  6. Admit cards will be issued only to the candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms.

  7. There will also be a short window to correct the application forms.

Important note

Late Fees - Candidates submitting late application form will have to pay late fees. And, the amount of the late fees will be raised with after every extended date of submitting application form. Last year the maximum amount of late fee was raised from Rs. 500 to a maximum of Rs. 2000.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQs) - TS LAWCET Application Form 2020

Question: I have paid my application fee but the payment reference Id did not display on the screen. How can I apply for application form as I don’t have my reference Id?

Answer:

This may happen due to some technical issues. If the amount is deducted from your account, wait for a few hours and check your payment status again. Otherwise, you will have to pay the application fee again, and the reference Id will appear in your display. The amount deducted earlier will be refunded to you.

Question: I have completed graduation in Engineering, am I eligible to apply for 3-year LLB course through TS LAWCET 2020?

Answer:

Yes. anyone having a recognized graduation degree can apply for 3-year LLB course through TS LAWCET.

Question: I have completed my graduation from distance education/open university, am I eligible to apply for TS LAWCET 2020?

Answer:

Yes, I such case the candidate should have passed the basic qualification, High school and Intermediate and a three-year graduation.

Question: I have scored 44.5% in my intermediate exam, am I eligible for TS LAWCET 2020?

Answer:

Yes, as per the TS LAWCET information, 44.5% marks will be considered 45%, so, yes, at 44.5% also you can apply for TS LAWCET. Similarly, For SC/ST candidates, 39.5% will be considered at par with 40%, making such candidates eligible for TS LAWCET.

Question: Are the exam centres for TS LAWCET available outside Telangana state?

Answer:

Yes, the exam centres will be available in Andhra Pradesh apart from Telangana. Outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, no exam centres will be made available.

you need to daily check the official website is there is any spot counselling going to happen or not. if you have the list of colleges which you seems to interest in getting admission, you can directly contact with college, some colleges takes direct admission when seats are not filled fully.

Do not be discouraged, I would suggest you to go for subsequent counselling.While filling the web options consider previous year cut off of particular college, you may find the cut off for law colleges in internet.Consider your rank and compare it with previous year cut off, and choose colleges which had slightly higher or lower than your rank as cut off is subjected to change.Make a list of colleges which you may consider to join.Choose more number of options to increase the chance of getting a seat.I hope this is helpful to you.

sir, i got 2530 rank in TS lawcet. certification done and selected colleges in web option. seat was not allowted in any college. how to get a seat in law college?
