CLAT Application Form 2021 - Consortium of NLUs has released CLAT 2021 application form on January 1, at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The last date to submit the CLAT application form 2021 is March 31. Eligible candidates may fill the application form of CLAT 2021 by registering at the admission portal. Filling the CLAT 2021 application form includes steps like registration, filling of personal information, communication details, education details and selecting NLUs in the order of preference. Note that the CLAT application form 2021 must be filled correctly, as the information provided at the time of registration will be used later for candidate verification. Submitting incorrect information in the CLAT application form may result in the disqualification of the candidate at the time of the document verification. Meanwhile, the CLAT 2021 will be conducted on June 13 for which admit card will be issued to successfully registered candidates. How to fill the CLAT application form 2021?
Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode. The detailed application process of CLAT can be summed up in the following steps.

On the Home Page, click on "Click Here" tab to open the login panel as shown below.
Click on the Register option
FIll the CLAT registration form by entering the details such as name, mobile number and password.
You will receive an OTP at the registered mobile number. Verify the mobile number to complete the registration.
Once the registration of CLAT 2021 is complete, candidates may access the application form which is divided into 5 sections

Filling CLAT application form 2021 - Personal information
Upload a recent photograph and signature as per the instructions.
Enter personal information including the candidate's full name, father’s name, mother’s name, category, date of birth, nationality, NRI category status (if applicable).
After filling in all details, click on the next option to move to the next section.
Fill the communication details
Enter correspondence address and permanent address in the given space.
Enter the name of your state and other details as asked.
Click next to proceed to the new section
Qualifying examination details
Candidates will need to provide the educational qualification details of Class 10th and Class 12th. Those applying for CLAT PG will need to provide graduation details in addition to the school qualification details. The details required for filling the qualifying examination details for CLAT 2021 application form include the following.

Selecting National Law Universities
One of the most important parts of the CLAT application form is giving the NLU preferences. Candidates must fill the NLUs preferences after considering all aspects of their course. One must select the top-ranked NLUs while giving the NLU preference. Below is given the list of national law universities in the order of their ranking in NIRF 2020 ranking of top law colleges.

Fill the reservation details
Many national law universities are offering domicile reservation. In addition, there are various other types of reservations such as national reservation, PwD reservation etc. If a candidate wants to take benefits of reservation, he/she will have to select his/her category and upload the relevant documents.
Submit CLAT application form 2021
After entering the reservation details, candidates will need to tick on the declaration box given along with the application form and submit the application form.
CLAT application form fee payment
Candidates may pay the application fee in online mode from the payment gateway available along with the application form. For unreserved category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 4000. The application fee for SC/ST category is Rs. 3500 only. The application fee can be paid using the net banking, credit and debit cards.

Will there be a CLAT 2021 application form correction window?
The consortium is unlikely to provide a CLAT application correction window. This means, once the application form is submitted, there is no way to rectify it afterwards. So, it is important that one bears caution when filling the application form of CLAT 2021.
However, if the consortium decides to give candidates a window to make corrections to CLAT 2021 application form, the same will be notified here along with the application correction link.

CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2021
Before going to fill the application form, it is always good to check the eligibility criteria; this saves the candidate time and heartache afterwards.
General Eligibility
- Age limit: There is no age limit for taking the CLAT 2021 exam
- Nationality: Indian nationals can apply, In addition, NRIs/ OCIs/ PIOs candidates are also eligible.

CLAT admit card 2021
The Consortium will issue the CLAT 2021 admit card to the successfully registered candidates. CLAT admit card will be mandatory for appearing in the examination. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by logging in to the admission portal of the Consortium. It carries the details such as CLAT roll number of the candidate, exam centre address, date and timings of the examination and exam related instructions. CLAT Seat Intake is 2622 for UG law programmes and 783 for LLM courses.

Answer:
No, the application form of CLAT can be filed anytime. You can fill a part of the application form and edit it later and submit.
Question: Who can apply for CLAT 2021?
Answer:
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of CLAT 2021 are eligible to apply for CLAT 2021. CLAT UG applicants should have passed/appeared in Class 12th with minimum qualifying marks. CLAT PG applicants should have a graduation degree in LLB with minimum qualifying marks.
Question: Will CLAT authorities release the application form of CLAT 2020 in offline mode?
Answer:
No, the CLAT application form will be available in online mode only. Also, the application will be the same for UG and PG courses.
Question: Is there any age limit for filling the CLAT application form?
Answer:
CLAT authorities haven’t set any upper age limit for admission to either UG or PG courses. So, candidates of any age group may apply, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria, including that of qualifying exam passed and minimum marks.
Question: Does filling the CLAT application form guarantee me a UG or PG seat in a participating NLU?
Answer:
Simply submitting the application form doesn’t confer the right of seat to the candidate. In fact, application submission is the first step of a multi-step admission process, which includes appearing in the offline exam, qualifying in the exam, participating in counselling and finally seat allotment.

CoAPS stands for CLAT Online Application Processing System. Application submission will be conducted through this portal.
Question: Can I submit the CLAT application form by post?
Answer:
The CLAT application form can be filled only in online mode. There will be no offline applications, so candidate's mustn't send hard-copies of printed applications to CLAT office.
Question: What is the upper age limit for taking the CLAT 2021?
Answer:
There is no upper age limit for either CLAT UG or CLAT PG. So, any candidate irrespective of their age can take the test, provided they meet the other criteria.

how to prepare for CLAT examination
Before starting your preparation for clat examination you should know its examination pattern so that you can prepare accordingly
Here's a brief of your clat UG 2021 examination pattern :-
* total number of questions :- 150 questions
* type of questions asked :- mcqs/objective. Basically, your clat question paper will contain several passages of around 300 to 450 words and those passages will be followed by series of mcqs.
* medium of the question paper :- English
* mode of the examination :- it will be conducted in offline mode / pen paper based examination
* total marks :- the examination will be conducted for a total of 150 marks
*Duration of the examination :- 2 hours
