SLAT 2020 eligibility criteria
For all law schools of Symbiosis International University, the eligibility criteria are common. The eligibility criteria for SLAT 2020 will be released officially in the notification of SLAT 2020. Law aspirants preparing for SLAT 2020 may refer to the following eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have passed Class 12th (10+2) from any recognized board or any equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC candidates)
Please note that candidates who are going to appear in their board examination this year will also be considered eligible to apply for SLAT 2020. Such candidates will have to produce their documents related to qualifying exams during the admission process. Failing which, such candidates will be disqualified.
Age limit - there is no upper age limit to appear in SLAT 2020.
Before we move forward, it is very important to mention an advisory from Symbiosis Law School, Pune regarding the admission to the law programmes -
Generally, at UG level there are two law programmes in Symbiosis Law Schools; BA LL.B and BBA LL.B. And, candidates may choose any one of these regardless of their class 12th subjects.
So, it is suggested that those candidates who have passed their qualifying exam (Class - 12) with arts or social sciences may apply for BA LL.B (Hons.) programme. Similarly, those candidates who have passed their qualifying exam with commerce or accounts or mathematics and sciences may apply for BBA LL.B. However, still, the candidates are free to choose any law programme depending on their interest, and ability.
SLAT 2020 - Who is not eligible?
Candidates who have passed their qualifying exam, class 12, in more than one attempt will not be considered eligible for SLAT 2020.
Further, if a candidate has cleared his qualifying exam with compartment is also not eligible to appear in SLAT 2020.
Those candidates who have passed their qualifying exam with distance learning system / open university system are also not eligible to appear in SLAT 2020.
SLAT 2020 - Important points to remember
The application form for SLAT 2020 are available from January 22, 2020. Eligible candidates will be able to apply in online mode only.
Before applying for SLAT 2020, candidates must carefully read the SLAT 2020 eligibility criteria.
Fees payment is available in both online and offline modes (Demand draft).
The exam will be conducted on May 2, 2020.

Computer Science Engineering at RMK College of Engineering and Technology Thiruvallur last year opening cutoff is 177 and closing cutoff is 165 in 2nd round of counselling. So, you will definitely get this college in 2nd or 3rd round through counselling.

This is the eligibility criteria for CUCET 2020-
- Candidate should be an Indian.
- For UG courses, the candidate should pass the 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognized board.
