AILET Result 2020 - The National Law University Delhi will declare the result of AILET 2020 in online mode separately for BA LLB and LLM programs. AILET 2020 result for BA LLB program is generally released first (around the 4th week of May), followed by result for LLM program (around 2nd week of June). The link to check AILET result 2020 will be uploaded on this page once it is declared; to check result, one needs to check the program and then enter details like roll and application number. How to download AILET 2020 Result

  1. Go to the result portal (link will be provided here once result is declared)

  2. A log-in window will open

  3. Select the course applied for admission

  4. Then enter name, roll number, application number, and date of birth

  5. On successful log-in, the AILET result 2020 would be displayed on screen

  6. Download and take a printout of the result

AILET Merit List 2020 - Tie-breaking procedure

In the event two or more candidates scoring identical marks in AILET 2020, the merit rank of candidates will be decided based on aggregate marks of 10+2 marks, with the candidate with higher aggregate marks to be ranked higher.

AILET 2020 Result - Key Pointers

  1. National Law University Delhi will declare the result of AILET 2020 BA LLB and LLM for various categories

  2. The AILET 2020 result would include details like marks obtained by the candidate in the exam and also qualifying status

  3. Candidates who qualify in the AILET 2020 exam will be eligible to participate in AILET 2020 counselling process.

  4. A merit list of AILET 2020 would be prepared for counselling and seat allotment. AILET 2020 merit list will be prepared using marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam

  5. Candidates who are ranked higher in AILET merit list will be given preference during seat allotment process

  6. In case of candidates obtaining identical scores in AILET 2020 exam, tie-breaking procedure would be adopted to decide merit rank.

  7. Candidates who get shortlisted for AILET counselling 2020 will be issued call letters

  8. Shortlisted candidates need to download the AILET 2020 counselling call letter and report for counselling on the designated day and time.

  9. Through AILET 2020 counselling, 70 BA LLB seats and an equal number of LLM seats (70) will be filled.

The admission officials of NLU Delhi will determine the category-wise AILET 2020 cutoff for both BA LLB and LLM programs. The AILET cutoff 2020 for a particular category and program is the generally the last score for which admission is offered. So, candidates need to score higher than the AILET cutoff score to have chances of admission. Note that the cutoff depends on various factors like seat intake for the program, applications received for admission, performance of candidates in the AILET 2020 entrance exam. Hello dear aspirant.

As of now you will be facing a great problem at the time of admission because they can't allow a failed candidate. Yes in eligibility criteria you will find that only +2 passed is required. But it will be not sufficient when you go for admission.

how much extra time is given to pwd students in CLAT and AILET?

Dear Sonu, Candidates with PWD can opt for Scribes. Scribes are those who assist PWD Candidates in writing the exam. The scribe will read out the question for the Candidate and the Candidate will give the answer and the scribe has to mention that as the answer. These scribes are used for visually imparied, Candidates with cerebral palsy, with locomotor disabilities and whose speed or writing or using a mouse is affected. And there is a compensatory time of 20 minutes allotted in additional for every 1 hour of exam duration. So for CLAT, there is 40 minutes of additional time that is allotted.

AILET is an entrance test for admission to National Law University, Delhi. Admission to all other NLUs in India is done through CLAT exam. The syllabus and level for both exams is quite similar. Some tips which can help you to prepare for your LLB entrance :

1. You can solve the mock tests provided in this link, they are very benificial as they help you to practice and increases your knowledge as well. 2. You can refer to exam expert on Legal aptitude published by Wiley Publications, this will be helpful.

3. You must go through History, Geography, Economy and General Science from any national level publication such as Arihant, Pearson or Universal.

4. Go through newspapers such as The Hindu, especially its Editorial and National pages. Plus, online portals such as GK Today, TCY and Cloud Affairs are of much help.

5. For English, You should regularly practice it and while answeing questions you should read the passage properly

6. For quantitative aptitude, you can refer to  Tenth standard R.S. Aggarwal or R.D. Sharma, it will be more than sufficient.

7. For Logical reasoning, you may refer to Books by M.K. Pandey and R.S. Aggarwal .

Some tips for DU LLB entrance exam ;

1. Make a daily schedule and make sure that you stick to it as you have very less time being in 3rd year of graduation. Keep some leisure time as well.
