Yes, you will be able to change your institution from a college affiliated with Bangalore University to the main University itself. With the advent of NEP, it is now possible to transfer your credits from one institution to another institution without much hassle.
First, you need to make sure that you have all the credits that your course, BCom, has in the first year.
Then, as per the guidelines of Bangalore University, you may have to write a letter to the Dean/Principal of the University, requesting a transfer of credits. Make sure that you start the procedure way before so that it can be processed before the start of academic year.
Because you are studying in a college affiliated with the same University you wish to transfer your credits to, it will be an easier process. Keep consulting your professors because they will help you a lot in this procedure as they have channels of communication in the Bangalore University
