MH CET Law Exam Pattern 2020 - Directorate of Higher Education Maharashtra has released MH CET Law 2020 exam pattern for both undergraduate law courses, namely, 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. MH CET Law exam will be conducted separately for both UG courses of Law. While the 5-year LLB will be conducted on April 12, 2020, the exam for 3-year LLB will be conducted on June 28, 2020. MH CET Law 2020 exam will strictly be based on the exam pattern of MH CET Law 2020. So, to get an overview of MH CET Law exam 2020, candidates will have to go through MH CET Law exam pattern 2020. The exam will be conducted in online mode only, and 150 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the exam. The candidates will be given 2 hours to attempt MHCET Law. Under MH CET Law, the exam pattern for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB law courses will be the same, only the standard of exam will differ according to the requirements of both the programmes.

There will be 150 questions in MH CET Law paper. The questions will be asked from different topics like general knowledge, legal aptitude, reasoning etc. While the exam pattern is same for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB course, the syllabus and standard of MH CET Law will vary according to the law programme. The syllabus for both the law programme is the same, except that, 5-year LLB programme will have an additional subject as Maths. And, the standard of questions will vary according to the programme.
For 3-year LLB programme, questions from graduation level are expected to be asked. Similarly, for 5-year LLB programme, questions from the intermediate level will be asked in the examination. Candidates can refer to the syllabus given below.
Legal aptitude and legal reasoning - Study of Law, Legal aptitude and problem-solving ability, legal prepositions with facts. The facts may not be true in the real sense, but candidates will have to answer the questions by using the facts.
General knowledge with current affairs - History (Ancient, Medieval and Modern), Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, and Current affairs.
Logical and analytical reasoning - Completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles or rules. Sets and statements, puzzle etc
English - Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, Idioms and Phrases, One-word Substitution, Sentence Improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, Errors - Common errors, Spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words, spelling mistakes etc, English Comprehension etc.
Maths (For 5-year LLB only) - Profit and Loss, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Algebra, Average, Venn Diagram, etc
The MH CET Law 2020 exam will be conducted in English and Marathi languages.
Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam and candidates will have to choose one option out of 4 given options.
There is no negative marking in MH CET Law.
MH CET exam will be conducted in multiple sessions. Candidates will have to report only in the session given printed on the admit card
The exam centres will be made available throughout the state of Maharashtra. Some centres may be allocated outside Maharashtra if candidates applying for the exam are more in numbers.
After the successful conduct of MH CET Law, the authorities will release MH CET Law result 2020 in online mode, separately for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programme.
Ideally if you are starting from basics, you will need around 7-8 months to prepare yourself for MH CET Law. but it is seen in many cases when candidates are pre-equipped with basic knowledge, 5-6 months are considered enough for preparation.

To apply for MH CET 2020 5 year integrated course the studenst have to fill the online application form which has been released on 2nd January,2020 and will close on 2nd March,2020. The day for Examination of 5 year Integrated course in scheduled on April 12,2020.
