The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala has postponed KLEE 2020 till further notice as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID-19. The KLEE application form 2020 has been closed on March 22. The state-level law entrance exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on April 25 and April 26 respectively for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. For appearing in the KLEE 2020, candidates will be issued the admit card/hall ticket, a few days before the exam. KLEE 2020 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of two hours duration comprising 200 MCQs; questions will be asked from General English, General Knowledge, Arithmetic and Mental Ability, and Aptitude for Legal Studies sections. Admission to the UG law course will be based on merit that will be decided based on KLEE 2020 scores. The intake capacity for the various courses are 1295 seats for five-year L.L.B, 625 seats for three-year L.L.B, and 136 seats for L.L.M programmes.

The eligibility criteria inform candidates about academic qualification, minimum marks and age limit one has to meet to be considered for admission to KLEE five year L.L.B program. The candidate must be minimum 17 years of age as on December 31, 2020
There is no upper age limit for appearing i the exam.
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
However, only such candidates who are of Kerala origin will be eligible for reservation.

There is no lower age limit for appearing in KLEE 2020. Also, the upper age limit is subject to decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Candidates seeking admission to LLB program must be Indian citizens; for consideration under reserved category, the candidate in addition need to be of Kerala origin.
