    • Undergraduate Level

    • B.A LLB that is Bachelor of Arts Bachelors of Legislative Law can be pursued after completion of higher secondary school. The duration of this degree course is 5 years. Candidates belonging to any stream can take up this course with required scores. However, this course is mostly pursued by Students belonging to Art’s stream. B.A LLB is an undergraduate integrated degree course where subjects of Arts and law are taught together. These subjects include Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology along with subjects of law such as Civil law, criminal law, labor law, tax law, administrative law, patent law, corporate law etc. In addition to this, students have an opportunity to interact with retired judges from the High court and Supreme Court of India. They are made familiar to several law case studies, moot courts and law internships.

    • BBA LLB that is Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelors of Legislative Law is a five-year integrated degree course. Similar to B.A LLB, this course can be pursued by students belonging to any stream, but it is usually taken up by Commerce students. This course is a combination of business administration and law subjects. This course can be pursued only after qualifying higher secondary school with required marks. Students are adorned with subjects of Business Administration like principles of management, financial accounting, computer application, effective communication etc. Along with these, law subjects are also included so that students can have knowledge regarding both legislative regulations and business law.

    • B. Com LLB that is Bachelor of Commerce Bachelors of Legislative Law is another undergraduate integrated degree which can be pursued after higher secondary education. Mostly commerce students take up this course but can be pursued by students belonging to any stream. The course is a blend of Commerce subjects and law subjects such as Business Statistics, Business Communication, Auditing, Economics, Law of Contract, Consumer Protection Law, Constitutional Law, Law of Crimes, Legal Language, Interpretation of Statutes etc.

    • BSc LLB that is Bachelor of Science Bachelors of Legislative Law is, yet another undergraduate integrated degree course pursued after qualifying 12th std. This course is usually done by students belonging to Science stream but can be pursued by students of any other stream. Chemistry, Electronic Devices, Biotechnology etc., are taught along with other law subjects.

    • LLB

    LLB is an acronym for Legum Baccalaureus. This course is regulated and supervised by Bar Council of India (BCI). LLB is an undergraduate course and can be pursued after qualifying higher secondary school with required marks. The duration of this course is 3 years. Students must engage themselves with internships, moot courts etc. Many renowned colleges worldwide offer this course.

    LLM is Master of Law. This is a postgraduate degree which can be pursued only after completion of LLB. The duration of this course is 2 years. The course involves in depth research and assimilation of a particular area of law.

    • PhD In Law

    PhD is the ultimate and last course in Law which has huge value nationally and internationally. This can be done alongside a job. Admission is done on merit basis or entrance.     Diploma law courses are designed for aspirants who wish to jump start their career in law. This course is relatively shorter and ranges from 1-3-year duration.     • Certificate Law Courses

    The duration of certificate law courses ranges from two weeks to six months. This is done by law professionals to enhance their knowledge and value in a particular field of specialization.     Law Colleges In Kolkata: Eligibility Criteria

    • For Undergraduate Level

    Law aspirants who wish to pursue undergraduate law courses must have qualified higher secondary education with a minimum of 45-50%. They are also required to appear for entrance exams at national or state level as per what is accepted by the desired college

    • For Postgraduate Level

    Applicants need to have LLB degree or any other equivalent degree for being eligible for admission in LLM degree course.

    • For Diploma Courses

    • For Certificate Courses

    • For Undergraduate Courses

    Colleges which offer undergraduate law courses require students to appear for some entrance exam to shortlist students as per their capabilities. CLAT, LSAT, SLAT, SRMHCAT, AILET and DU Law are some entrances that are acceptable for admission in undergraduate law programs. Aspirants can seek admission only after scoring the required score in the entrance.

    • For Postgraduate Courses

    For admission in post-graduation law colleges, students are required to appear for certain entrances such as CLAT, AILET, LSAT, DU LLB, SRMHCAT etc. only after scoring minimum required marks students can seek admission.
