Due to multiple factors, the difficulty level in each shift varies and to ensure fairness, the CET cell normalises the scores of candidates by adjusting scores for candidates who appeared in the different shifts of the exam. The normalisation of marks in the MH CET Law 2026 result is done through the percentile score computation method to ensure fairness in the examination. If two or more students score the same number of marks, the CET cell adopts a tie-breaking methodology to give ranks to students. The MH CET LLB tie-breaking methodology has been mentioned below:

• Candidates with higher marks in their class 12 will be given preference.

• Candidates’ marks in the First Language Examination (Marathi Board) will be given preference over other board students.

• Candidates with higher marks in their graduation will be given higher ranks.
