The eligibility criteria for the best government law colleges in India pertain to the minimum educational qualification required, minimum qualifying marks and age limit. Candidates must appear for various law entrance exams to gain admission into the best government law colleges in India. The exams include CLAT, AILET, CUET Law, and other state level entrance exams such as TS LAWCET, AP LAWCET and MH CET Law. Some government law colleges in India also offer law admissions without entrance exams on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
After appearing in the entrance exam, candidates must register for the counselling and admission process. The candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents for verification and pay the required fees to obtain seat allotment.
