MH CET Law Counseling 2018
– Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra will conduct MH CET Law 2018 counselling in the month of June 2018 for both the undergraduate law programmes. The Counselling of MH CET Law 2018 is a process conducted by universities to select the candidates for admission on the basis of the merit list. DHE Maharashtra will conduct MH CET Law Counselling in online mode for the law aspirants who will receive the call letters from the conducting authority. It should also be noted that as per the counselling procedure of MH CET Law 2018, candidates will be required to submit their final documents after the MH CET Law 2018 counselling procedure. These submissions should be necessarily done before the last date of counselling to make the procedures smooth. The university will take the submissions and will return the same after required rectifications.

How to register for MH CET Law Counselling 2018

  1. Click on the link ‘MH CET Law 2018 Counselling’

  2. Click on 'New Registration' for registering for MH CET Law 2018 Counselling.

  3. Then enter your Roll number

  4. Click on "Save and Proceed' button.

  5. Provide all the details as asked and required for MH CET Law Counselling followed by entering a password.

  6. Enter security PIN and click on 'Save and Proceed' button.

  7. Give your preference for colleges from the list of participating institutes provided by the conducting body.

  8. A merit-cum-provisional seat allotment list for the registered candidates will be released by DHE Maharashtra.

  9. In case of any discrepancy, candidates can freely contact the examination officials.

  10. A final merit list will be published and candidates need to exercise options on the basis of the MH CET Law merit list.

  11. After the release of the final merit list, candidates will be issued admission letter after which they need to visit the allotted facilitation centres for document verification before proceeding to exercise options for seat allotment process.

  12. Candidates need to remit the admission fee for securing a seat in the law programme.

MH CET Law Counseling 2018 – Fees

MH CET Law 2018 Counseling – Choice-locking system

Candidates appearing in MH CET Law 2018 and also participating in the counselling procedure, will be given an opportunity of seat booking in the ways mentioned below.

 

Float – In this system, a candidate chooses an option Float if the offered seat is not not of his/her satisfaction. In this way the candidate becomes eligible for participating in the counselling rounds further. In case they are not offered seats by any chance, they can opt for the seat previously allotted college. 

 

Freeze – The ‘freeze’ option in MH CET Law 2018 counselling can be utilized by candidate, if he/ she doesn’t want to participate further in the counselling process of MH CET Law 2018 and is agreed to report to the allotted college only.  At the same time, the freeze option also limits the candidate from attending further rounds of MH CET Law Counselling 2018, as it would be the final lock for the allotted college.

MH CET Law Counseling 2018 – Important points to remember

  • Directorate of Higher Education will conduct MH CET Law Counseling 2018 in online mode.

  • Candidates will be required to register themselves for participate in the counselling procedure of MH CET Law.

  • After the registration procedure, candidates will have to submit their documents for scrutinizing.

  • Candidates will be provided an opportunity to freeze and float their seat for admissions in the law programmes.

  • There will be three rounds in the MH CET Law 2018 Counselling.

  • Candidates attending MH CET Law counselling 2018 will have to deposit a counselling fee for accepting seats, as per their respective categories.

  • Candidates, who do not report at the allotted college within the alloted time will lose their offered seat and such candidates cannot participate in the next rounds of MH CET Law 2018 Counselling.

  • If any candidate fails to get their documents verified, he/she will not be eligible for the next rounds of counselling of MH CET Law 2018.

  • If any candidate withdraws his/her seats, a deduction of Rs 1000 will be made from the total amount and then refunded.
