Choice filling: Such candidates have to next participate in choice filling, wherein they have to exercise their preference of institutions before the start of CAP Round-I and CAP Round-III. The options have to be entered in the order of priority, with the first preferred option at the top.
The options filled before CAP Round I will be used for seat allotment in the CAP Round-I and II.
For seat allotment in CAP Round III, options confirmed prior to CAP Round III will be considered.
Seat allotment: The allotment of seats for each CAP Round will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and choices entered by the candidate.
Document verification: The candidate has to next accept the allotted seat and pay the acceptance fee by reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) through candidate log-in.
Reporting at allotted institute: Such candidates who have been allotted seats need to report at the allotted institute within the given deadline and complete admission formalities
Freezing, betterment, and acceptance of seats explained:
If the candidate is allotted first preference seat:
The seat will be freezed and the candidate can’t participate in any subsequent CAP rounds.
The candidate has to report at ARC for document verification and payment of seat acceptance fee through candidate login.
Finally report at the allotted institute and complete admission formalities.
If the candidate is allotted a seat other than first preference seat, the candidate may:
Freeze the seat if she is satisfied with such allotment and doesn’t want to participate in subsequent CAP rounds. The seat can be freezed through candidate log-in. The candidate has to next get their documents verified at ARC and also pay the seat acceptance fee. Finally, report at the allotted institute and complete remaining admission formalities. Any candidate who doesn’t report at ARC, the allotment would be cancelled. Also, if one freezes the allotted seat, one can’t participate in any future CAP rounds.

Questions related to MHCET Law
I have cleared my LLB 2nd year exams from a college in mumbai in 2010 and now i want to join a college for the 3rd year. Do i need to appear for mhcet for getting an admission in any of the law colleges in mumbai
see mhtcet llb exam entrance test held by STATE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST CELL, MAHARASHTRA STATE, MUMBAI, for llb 3 years course as well as 5 years course. now since you are in middle of the llb course you do not need to again appear in mhtcet entrance test if you want to take admission in third year, mhtcet llb exam is for admission in first year of 3 years or 5 years duration llb courses. but if you want to start from first year you can definitely go for the exam.
now see most of the college donot permit to take admission in middle of any course. so I suggest you to directly contact with the college authority in which you want to take admission to know about rules and regulations for migration to another college.
hope you may understand.
