What Candidates Can Expect in CLAT PG 2025 Hearing?

In the CLAT 2025 hearings conducted from April 7 to 9, the Delhi HC had said that the CLAT PG petitions would be taken up only after CLAT UG. Given below are some points that candidates can expect to happen during the CLAT PG hearing on April 21.

  • On April 21, the Delhi HC is expected to hear the pleas of the petitioners in matters of the Common Law Admission Test PG one by one.

  • There is a possibility of more petitions being added to the existing case list, similar to what happened in the CLAT UG cases.

  • If any petition does not pertain to mistakes in the CLAT PG answer key or CLAT PG result, then the HC may order those cases to be segregated from the rest of the petitions. Such petitions will be heard separately as they will not affect the revised results.

  • All the petitions pertaining to the CLAT 2025 answer key and results are likely to be clubbed together.

Will Delhi HC Deliver Judgment on April 21?

It remains to be seen whether the Delhi HC will deliver a judgment in the CLAT PG 2025 hearing on April 21. The HC may decide to reserve the judgement for CLAT PG cases for a later date as it did in the CLAT UG cases. In such a scenario, the Delhi HC may deliver the judgement for CLAT UG and CLAT PG together at a later date.

The Consortium of NLUs will only restart the CLAT PG 2025 counselling process once all the cases are resolved. The CLAT counselling dates 2025 are likely to be notified tentatively either in the fourth week of April or the first week of May 2025.

Hello,

For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category

Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.

Hope it helps !

Hi Akash,

It is good to see institutions like NMIMS have selected you for master of law based on your CLAT PG scores. If we compare the three then to be very clear:

  • NMIMS Mumbai has strong reputation for it's Kirti Mehra School of Law and has got good academic value.
  • Nirma University is also another good after NMIMS, and has strong reputation for law studies in Gujarat.
  • The DNLU is comparatively newer than the other two and it will take some time to be equivalent to them.

For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.

ALL THE BEST !
