The CLAT PG 2026 provisional answer key will help candidates calculate their CLAT 2026 score. Candidates must refer to the CLAT PG 2026 marking scheme to calculate the marks in the exam. Given below is the marking scheme as per the CLAT PG 2026 exam pattern prescribed by the consortium.

There is no qualifying marks in the CLAT PG 2026 results. The Consortium will shortlist a certain number of candidates in proportion to the available seats and invite them for counselling registrations.
To calculate a probable CLAT PG score using the answer key, candidates must refer to the CLAT 2026 marking scheme. Where each correct answer rewards 1 mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
For example, if a candidate attempted 100 questions and got 80 correct, they can calculate their score as follows:
Total CLAT Marks = (80 correct answers × 1 mark) - (20 incorrect answers × 0.25 mark) = 80 - 5 = 75 marks.
After publishing the CLAT PG 2026 provisional answer key, the consortium will notify the objection window. Candidates can raise their objections against the answer key through their login after paying the prescribed objection fee. It must be noted that the objections against the answer key of CLAT PG 2026 can be submitted only in online mode.
After considering the valid objections, the authorities will publish the final answer key. The candidates whose objections are found to be valid will be refunded the objection fee.

For CLAT PG 2026, if you aim for top NLUs like NALSAR, NLSIU and WBNUJS, a score of around 75+ marks (rank within 100 ) is generally good for the general category
Cut-offs change every year, so try to score as high as possible for a better chance.

For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.
