TS PGLCET Exam 2026: Counselling Registration (Started), Cut off, Web Options

The TS PGLCET phase III counselling registration will be open from September 15 to 17, 2026. The TS PGLCET phase III seat allotment results will be published on September 25, 2026. The TS PGLCET phase 3 web options 2026 will be available from September 19 to September 21, 2026, followed by editing of web options on September 21. Candidates allotted seats must report to the concerned colleges upto September 29, 2026, for original certificate verification and tuition fee payment.

Candidates who have obtained more than the qualifying marks in the TS PGLCET 2026 exam are eligible to appear in the counselling. The TS PGLCET counselling is the last stage of the admission process, during which around 30 law colleges will come together to offer approximately 750 seats. Candidates must upload the prescribed documents in the specified size for verification and pay the counselling registration fee. 

Colleges accepting TS PGLCET 2026 scores

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prescribes the eligibility criteria of TS PGLCET 2026 for admission to the LLM programme offered by participating colleges. The eligibility requirements would pertain to minimum qualifications, age limit, domicile, and other such requirements that the candidate has to fulfil for admission.

TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

As listed in the above table, candidates must have cleared a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB to be eligible for LLM. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided that they submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission. There is no age limit. Candidates also need to satisfy domicile requirements if they are applying under the local candidate category.

General and OBC candidates are required to score at least 25% in the TS PGLCET 2026 entrance exam to be considered for ranking. However, there is no such stipulation for SC and ST candidates.

Tie Breaker Rule

In case of a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part A of the exam will be considered for deciding the rank. If the tie persists, candidates may be bracketed together for ranking, and senior candidates (by age) may be given first preference.

The TS PGLCET 2026 application process without a late fee ended on April 10, 2026. Managed by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), the registration was conducted online. Candidates could register at the official TS PGLCET portal, lawcet.tgche.ac.in. Candidates had to ensure they met the eligibility criteria for the LLM programme before proceeding with the registration. As part of the application process, the candidate needed to first get registered and pay the application fee, after which the application form can be filled out. The TS PGLCET application form 2026 fee is Rs 1,100 for general/OBC category candidates and Rs 900 for SC/ST candidates.

How to fill the TS PGLCET 2026 application form?

• Registration and payment of the application fee - The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. Online payment can be made using net banking, credit or debit cards. For making offline payments, one needs to go to the TS online centres.
• Check payment status - If the payment is successful, the payment status will be updated in the application portal.
• Fill the form: In this step, the candidate will be required to fill in personal, academic and contact details.
• Select exam centre: A maximum of three choices is allowed; enter the options in the order of priority.
• Upload documents - Photograph and signature would have to be uploaded as per the prescribed format.

The mock test of TS PGLCET 2026 will help candidates understand the online testing system and the type of questions asked in the examination. These mock tests are designed to familiarise applicants with the computer-based testing environment and the exam interface. Candidates are allowed to attempt the TS PGLCET 2026 mock test multiple times, for free of cost.

The TS PGLCET 2026 admit card was released on May 12, 2026. The TS PGLCET admit card 2026 was released online. The admit card is now available for download at the TSCHE portal. The TS PGLCET 2026 hall ticket mentions information like the date and time of the TS PGLCET exam, roll number, and details of the allotted exam centre. Candidates are required to carry the TS PGLCET admit card with them to the exam centres.

The TS PGLCET 2026 final answer key was released online on June 5, 2026. The final key is published by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) after a thorough review of all objections raised by candidates against the TS PGLCET 2026 provisional answer key. Earlier, the TS PGLCET provisional answer key was published on May 23, 2026. The answer key contains official answers to all the questions asked in the examination. Therefore, by comparing their answers with those in the answer key, one can calculate estimated scores and thus the chances of admission.  

The TS PGLCET 2026 results were declared on June 4, 2026. The results are released online in the form of individual rank cards. The TS PGLCET scorecard contains details like the qualifying status of the candidate, along with the sectional and total scores and rank. Based on entrance exam scores, TS PGLCET merit lists will also be prepared, which will be used to shortlist candidates for counselling and the seat allotment process.
