TS PGLCET Exam 2024 - Web Option Editing (Open), Seat Allotment (Out), Counselling (Ongoing)

Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) released the TS LAWCET 2024 seat allotment schedule. Shortlisted candidates must report to the allotted colleges for verification of certificates and paying the tuition fee chalan between November 1-5, 2024. After considering the options and rank of the candidate, the list of selected candidates for the TS PGLCET 2024 counselling was published on October 30, 2024.

The TS PGLCET 2024 counselling is conducted in online mode. Candidates who have obtained more than the qualifying marks in TS PGLCET 2024 exam are eligible to appear in the counselling.  The TS PGLCET counselling is the last stage of the admission process during which around 30 law colleges will come together to offer approximately 750 seats.

TS PGLCET 2024 counselling would comprise steps such as exercising web options, entering and locking of choices, and seat allotment. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and the options opted for by the candidate.

During counselling, document verification will be conducted. It is mandatory for all candidates to successfully complete the process, or else they will not be considered for admission.

Colleges accepting TS PGLCET 2024 scores

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prescribes the eligibility criteria of TS PGLCET 2024 for admission to the LLM programme offered by participating colleges. The eligibility requirements would pertain to minimum qualifications, age limit domicile and other such requirements the candidate has to fulfil for admission.

As listed in the above table, candidates must have cleared a 3-year LLB or a 5-year LLB in order to be eligible for LLM. Final year students are also eligible to apply provided that they submit their qualifying certificates at the time of admission.  There is no age limit. Candidates also need to satisfy domicile requirements if they are applying under local candidate category. 

General and OBC candidate are required to score at least 25 % in TS PGLCET 2024 entrance exam to be considered for ranking. However, there is no such stipulation for SC and ST candidates.

Tie Breaker Rule

In case of a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-A of the exam will be considered for deciding the rank. If the tie persists candidates may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and senior candidates (by age) may be given first preference.

The application window of TS PGLCET 2024 has been closed. Earlier, TSCHE released the TS PGLCET 2024 application form on March 1, 2024. Candidates could register online at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Such candidates who met the prescribed eligibility criteria could duly fill out the TS PGLCET application form and submit it before the specified deadline. The last date to submit the TS PGLCET application form with a late fee was May 25, 2024.  As part of the application process, the candidate needed to first get registered and pay the application fee, post which the application form can be filled out.  

How to fill TS PGLCET 2024 application form?

• Registration and payment of application fee - The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. Online payment can be made using net banking, credit or debit cards. For making offline payments, one needs to go to the TS online centres. 
• Check payment status - If the payment is successful, the payment status will be updated in the application portal. 
• Fill the form: In this step, the candidate will be required to fill in personal, academic and contact details. 
• Select exam centre: A maximum of three choices is allowed; enter the options in the order of priority. 
• Upload documents - Photograph and signature would have to be uploaded as per the prescribed format.

TSCHE provides the TS PGLCET mock test for candidates preparing for the examination. The mock test of TS PGLCET 2024 will help candidates understand the online testing system and the type of questions asked in the examination. Candidates are allowed to attempt the TS PGLCET 2024 mock test multiple times, for free of cost. 

Along with the mock tests, candidates should also solve all previous year question papers of TS PGLCET. These papers allow the candidates to make their preparation more exam-oriented. Candidates by solving the TS PGLCET previous year question papers will get to know about the type of questions asked in the examination, important topics, difficulty level and several other aspects of the examination.

The TS PGLCET admit card 2024 has been released in online mode on May 29, 2024. The admit card is available for download at the TSCHE portal. TS PGLCET 2024 hall ticket cum admit card mentions information like the date and time of TS PGLCET exam, roll number, and details of the allotted exam centre. 

Steps to download TS PGLCET admit card 2024

• Go to the TSCHE website
• Click on the admit card download link 
• A login window will open
• Enter the registration number, DOB, and qualifying examination hall ticket number
• On login, the admit card will be displayed in a downloadable format
• Download and take a printout of the TS PGLCET admit card 2024

The TS PGLCET 2024 answer key was released in online mode on June 6, 2024. Candidates were allowed to submit the objections till June 7, 2024.  The final answer key of TS PGLCET will be released after considering all the valid objections. The TS PGLCET answer key 2024 will contain official answers to all the questions asked in the examination. So, candidates by comparing their answers with those given in the answer key will be able to calculate estimated scores and thus chances of admission; one may use previous years' cutoff data for this purpose.  

An option to challenge the answer keys of TS PGLCET is also given to the candidates. After considering all the objections, the final answer key will be published.

The authorities have declared the result of TS PGLCET 2024 on June 13, 2024 in online mode at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. TS PGLCET result 2024 will be available in the form of individual rank cards. It contains details like the qualifying status of the candidate along with the sectional and total score, and rank. Based on entrance exam scores, TS PGLCET merit lists will also be prepared which will be used to shortlist candidates for counselling and seat allotment process.

• Go to the TSCHE website
• Click on the result link
• A login window will open
• Enter TS PGLCET Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY)
• TS PGLCET result would be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of the result. 

Officials will also release TS PGLCET rank cards along with the result or sometime thereabout.
