About TS PGLCET 2020

Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) exam is conducted by Osmania University for admission to the L.L.M programme offered by participating law colleges in the state of Telangana. TS PGLCET 2020 will be conducted on May 25; mode of exam will be computer-based (CBT). Based on  TS PGLCET 2020 scores, 620 seats will be filled, out of which 554 are convener seats. The application forms for TS PGLCET will be released in online mode tentatively in the 3rd week of March. Candidates who wished to seek admission to the TS PGLCET 2020 participating institutes must qualify the examination and participate in counselling process. The result of TS PGLCET 2020 will be declared around 1st week of June, 2020.

TS PGLCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing in TS PGLCET 2020 must meet the eligibility criteria of TS PGLCET 2020 to be considered for admission. 

TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

  • The candidate must posses a three year degree in law or five-year degree in integrated law programme.
  • Candidates who are in the last year of their three year or five year integrated law programme can also apply.
  • Candidates who wish to apply for L.L.M at Osmania University (Private Appearance) need to have minimum 3 years experience as a judicial officer or a 3 year standing as an advocate on the date of appearing in TS PGLCET 2020
  • Non-Indian applicants satisfy the rules and conditions of the concerned universities.

TS PGLCET 2020 Application Process

Exam officials will release the application form of TS PGLCET 2020 in online mode. Applicants seeking admission to postgraduate law programmes offered by participating institutes need to duly fill the form and submit it before the last date.  

To apply, the candidate must first get registered using their email ID and mobile number. Upon successful registration, registration ID and password will be created to new candidate account.

Application fee

The candidate will have to pay the application fees online. The fee for General Category is Rs. 1000,  and for SC/ST/PwD categories fee is Rs. 800.

TS PGLCET 2020 Admit Card

Candidates who successfully complete the application process will be issued TS PGLCET admit card 2020 tentatively in the 3rd week of May. The admit card will be issued in online mode only, and not by post. To download the TS PGLCET hall ticket cum admit card, enter registration details.

TS PGLCET 2020 Answer Key

Osmania University will release TS PGLCET 2020 answer key soon after the declaration of results. The TS PGLCET answer key 2020 will contain official answers to all the questions asked in the examination. So, candidates by comparing their answers with those given in the answer key will be able to calculate estimated score and thus chances of admission; one may use previous years' cutoff data for this purpose.  

There will also be provision to challenge the answer keys of TS PGLCET within a specified time limit. The final answer key will be released after considering all such objections registered by candidates.

TS PGLCET 2020 Result

Exam officials will declare the results of TS PGLCET 2020 around the 1st week of June. The result will be declared in online mode and contain details like the sectional and overall score obtained by the candidate in the TS PGLCET 2020 exam. 

Candidates can check the TS PGLCET result 2020 by entering their login details like

Rank Card will be available to candidates at the time of result declaration. 


TS PGLCET 2020 Counselling

Mode of Counselling: Offline

The counselling of TS PGLCET 2020 will be conducted online and will be open to such general category candidates who qualify in the exam. There is no such requirement however for  SC/ST candidates, as they can appear in counselling irrespective of their score or rank in TS PGLCET 2020 exam.

TS PGLCET 2020 counselling would comprise steps like like exercising of web options, entering and locking of choices, and seat allotment. The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and options opted by the candidate.

During counselling, document verification will be conducted. It is mandatory for all candidates to successfully complete the process, or else they will not be considered for admission.

Greetings! 

Yes there's a spot round . Centre for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Thiruvananthapuram will conduct a Spot round of counselling for 5-year integrated law program on August 14 for filling vacant seats in government and self-financing law colleges and also 50% seats in BA LLB course in the private self-financing law college, Guru Nithyachaithanya Yathi College of Law and Research Centre, Kareelakulangara, Kayamkulam.

Meanwhile, Spot counselling for 3-year LLB course will be conducted on August 13 for filling vacant seats in government and self financing law colleges.

The counselling venue for both the courses will be L.M.S Women’s Centre Conference Hall in the LMS compound, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram.

TS PGLCET is the short form used for the Postgraduate common law entrance test conducted by Osmania Universityunder the aegis of TSCHE.

There are total 580 seats in LLM via TS PGLCET. Since you are from SC category you have pretty good chances of getting a free seat. All the best.

Hi Hari,

Osmania University is a prestigious university which opens many gates of opportunities for it's students. And getting admission in this university is an achievement in itself. Since it is such a high ranked university it's cutoffs are also high.

This year's cut-offs for TSPGLCET have not been released yet but you can always predict your college by checking out last year's cut-off trends.

Last year the cut-off marks for Osmania University were:-

Opening- 102

Closing- 90

So according to last year's cut-offs you don't have much of a chance getting in Osmania University campus. But if the cut-off marks go down then you can get in.
