The eligibility criteria for All India Bar Examination requires you to have a degree in law which is LLB and also you dont need to be registered in a state bar council:

• Exam date: 16 August 2020
• Application dates:16 May-27 July 2020
• Exam Pattern:100 MCQ questions, 3.5 hours total time, 100 total marks
• Syllabus: Family Law, Constitutional law,CRPC, IPC,Evidence Act,Administrative law, company law etc

So as a general practice a law graduate who has enrolled under a state bar council can practice law without clearing AIBE for 2 years. You will have to appear for the AIBE exam after your registration with the state council and clear it within 2 years to continue practicing.

Here are some of the preparation tips for AIBE examination:-

• Make a time table and follow that strictly to ensure completion of syllabus on time.
• Go thoroughly through the syllabus and study to the point concepts.
• You should refer to exam pattern to know about the variety of questions and the marking scheme.
• Solve sample papers to increase confidence.
• Revise the important topics as many times as you can.
• Go through mock tests to take the actual feeling of the exam.
• BE CONFIDENT DURING EXAM.
