Failure to comply with LAWCET eligibility criteria can lead to candidates' disqualification irrespective of their performance in AP LAWCET 2026. Through the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test, candidates will be admitted into 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes of colleges participating in AP LAWCET. There is no AP LAWCET age limit for candidates looking to appear in AP LAWCET 2026. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria for admission to 3-year or 5-year LL.B programmes of the colleges in which they wish to apply.

As per the AP LAWCET 2026 eligibility criteria, candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for ranking. The AP LAWCET qualifying marks is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks) for candidates from the general and OBC categories. If such candidates fail to secure, the qualifying marks, they will not be able to participate in the AP LAWCET 2026 counselling process.
