The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has notified the AP LAWCET exam date 2025. The AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2025 exam will be held on May 25, 2025. The authorities also prescribe the AP LAWCET eligibility criteria 2025 in its information bulletin on the official website. The eligibility for LAWCET includes educational qualification requirements, age limit, and minimum passing marks. Failure to comply with LAWCET eligibility criteria can lead to candidates' disqualification irrespective of their performance in AP LAWCET 2025. Through the Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test, candidates will be admitted into 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes of colleges participating in AP LAWCET. Therefore, one must go through the eligibility criteria before applying. Around 30 law colleges in Andhra Pradesh accept the scores of the law entrance exam for admission to their law programmes.

As prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974. Non-Indian candidates may also apply if they adhere to the rules and regulations as specified by the concerned Universities.
Aspirants of AP LAWCET 2025 exam should also satisfy the local status requirements if applicable. Students from Telangana applying for AP LAWCET 2025 must check their eligibility for local status from the official website. Any applicant who has migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh within a period of five years from June 2, 2014 will be considered as a local candidate of AP for admission purposes.

There is no AP LAWCET age limit for candidates looking to appear in AP LAWCET 2025. Candidates must also check the eligibility criteria for admission to 3-year or 5-year LL.B programmes of the colleges in which they wish to apply.

As per the AP LAWCET 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates must obtain the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for ranking. The AP LAWCET qualifying marks is 35% for candidates from the general and OBC categories.
