Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the AP LAWCET 2026 syllabus in online mode at its official website. The Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) syllabus covers mental ability, general knowledge, current events, and legal aptitude. Candidates appearing in AP LAWCET 2026 should refer to the syllabus while preparing for the entrance exam. Candidates will be asked 120 multiple-choice type questions from the AP LAWCET syllabus 2026. Each question carries one mark. The AP LAWCET 2026 syllabus for 5-year LLB is of intermediate level/ 10+2, while the AP LAWCET 3-year syllabus is of degree level. The AP LAWCET 2206 exam is set to be conducted on May 4, 2026. The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is accepted by over 20 law schools in Andhra Pradesh. The AP LAWCET participating institutes offer 3-year LLB programmes, 5-year integrated LLB programmes, and LLM programmes through the entrance exam.
The AP LAWCET syllabus PDF given on the official website provides a glimpse of the important sections and topics in the AP LAWCET question paper. The syllabus for AP LAWCET 2026 will have three parts. Part A will have 30 questions on general knowledge and mental ability, and Part B will have 30 questions on current affairs. The legal aptitude is included in the third part, and it consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks.
