AP LAWCET Syllabus 2025: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) releases the AP LAWCET 2025 syllabus in online mode. The Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) syllabus contains mental ability, general knowledge, current events, and legal aptitude. Candidates appearing in AP LAWCET 2025 should refer to its syllabus while preparing for the entrance exam. Candidates will be asked 120 multiple-choice type questions from the AP LAWCET entrance exam syllabus. Each question carries one mark. AP LAWCET 2025 will be held on May 25, 2025, in online mode. The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is accepted by over 20 law schools in Andhra Pradesh. The AP LAWCET participating institutes offer 3-year LLB programmes, 5-year integrated LLB programmes, and LLM programmes through the entrance exam.
The AP LAWCET syllabus pdf given on the official website provides a glimpse of the important sections and topics in the AP LAWCET question paper. The syllabus for AP LAWCET 2025 will have three parts. Part A will have 30 questions on general knowledge and mental ability, Part B will have 30 questions on current affairs. The legal aptitude is included in the third part and it consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks.

As per the notification released, the cut off of AP LAWCET 2024 entrance exam set for the general category is 35% (42 out of 120). However, there are no criteria regarding minimum qualifying marks if you are from SC and ST categories. As per the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2024 eligibility criteria for the 5-year LLB programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 exam in a (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45% marks. Any student who has completed their graduation (10+2+3) from a recognized College/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category, 43% marks in aggregate for OBC Category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category can apply for LLB programme
