The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) Maharashtra has notified the MH CET Law 2026 exam date on November 21, 2025. The MH CET Law exam dates 2026 are available on its official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. The MH CET 3-year LLB exam is scheduled to be held from April 01, 2026 to April 02, 2026. The MH CET 5-year LLB exam will be conducted on May 08, 2026. The MH CET LLB CET 2026 application form will open separately for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. Interested candidates can register online from the official website. The CET Cell will conduct the MH CET Law 2026 exam separately for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB in online mode. In 2025, the CET Cell revised the MH CET Law exam pattern and reduced the number of questions to 120 from the earlier 150 in both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test - Law also known as LLB CET or MH CET Law is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. LLB CET 2026 includes two exams - MH CET 3-year LLB and MH CET 5-year LLB for admissions into 5-year LLB programmes and 3-year LLB programmes of participating colleges in Maharashtra.
While the MH CET 3-year LLB is a graduate-level entrance exam, the 5-year LLB is an undergraduate-level entrance exam. The syllabus of MH CET Law 2026 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB is the same, with an additional maths section present in the MH CET 5-year LLB syllabus. Candidates who have completed graduation from an open university recognised by the government of Maharashtra are also eligible to appear in MH CET 3-year LLB. The CET Cell will notify the MH CET Law counselling schedule on its official counselling portal for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB. Candidates who have a non-zero valid score will be able to perform LLB CAP 2026 registration and obtain seat allotment.
