MH CET Law Syllabus 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra prescribes the MH CET law 2025 syllabus on its official website- cetcell.mahacet.org. The LLB CET syllabus 2025 for the 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes is the same with the exception of the mathematics section. The MH CET 5-year LLB syllabus has a maths section with a 10% weight which is not present in the MHCET 3-year LLB syllabus. The four common sections in the MHCET law syllabus 2025 include legal aptitude and legal reasoning, general knowledge and current affairs, logical and analytical reasoning, English. Candidates appearing for Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Law should go through the LLB CET syllabus 2025 which will be available in the information bulletin published by the CET for the two law programmes. The CET Cell will conduct MH CET law 2025 tentatively in March/April 2025. There are around 140 MH CET Law participating colleges that accept the MH CET law scores for admission.
MH CET Law Syllabus 2025 Details
There is not much difference between Law CET syllabus 2025 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB. There are four sections in the MH CET 3-year LLB syllabus namely legal aptitude and legal reasoning, GK and current affairs, logical and analytical reasoning, and english. The MH CET LLB 5 years syllabus also has a basic mathematics section in addition to the four sections in the MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 exam. Even though, there are four common sections in MHCET law syllabus 2025 for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB, the sections carry different weight in each of the two syllabus. In the MHCET 3 year LLB syllabus, the English section has the maximum weight at 33%. However, in the MH CET law 5 years syllabus, the legal aptitude and logical reasoning sections have the joint maximum weight at around 27%.

The MH CET law syllabus 2025 for GK and current affairs tests the candidate’s general awareness about the recent happenings in the national and international arena from different fields. The MHCET law syllabus for GK includes both static GK and questions on current affairs. Candidates are required to have knowledge of the recent happenings of the last one year.

Mumbai University has opened its application forms, under the Department of Law, for the two-year LLM program. The portable was made accessible for the applicants from the 3rd of August, 2024, and will be open till the 12th of August, 11:55 pm.
The applicants can fill out the form via their online portable, which is linked below for your convenience. The exam conducted by the Mumbai University for their LLM program is called the LLM CET exam, which will most probably be conducted by the end week of August 2024.
There will be around 50 multiple-choice questions from different areas of law such as constitutional law, family law, administrative law, human law, etc. The exact date of the exam will be conveyed to you either by email or via their website.

Those who wish to pursue careers in law should apply to Indian LLB 2024 programmes. There are primarily two LLB programmes: the three-year and the five-year degrees. Since CLAT and AILET are now in the midst of their counselling processes, LLB admission for 2024 is currently open.
