The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will release the MH CET Law syllabus 2026 for 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. MHT CET Law syllabus includes for 5-year LLB includes five sections, while MH CET Law 3 year LLB syllabus includes four sections. Last year, the MHT CET Law syllabus and pattern were revised. In the MHCET syllabus for law, the sections and topics remain the same; the number of questions in MH CET Law 2026 has been reduced from 150 to 120. Candidates appearing for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Law must go through the MHCET Law syllabus 2026 and prepare for the exam accordingly. The CET Cell will conduct MH CET Law 2026 in an online computer-based mode. There are around 140 MH CET Law participating colleges that accept the MH CET Law scores for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes.
The MH CET Law 5 year LLB syllabus has its maths section. But the number of questions has been decreased from 10 to 8 in 5-year LLB syllabus of MH CET Law 2026. Now, the Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning Sections carry the highest weightage, with 32 questions each. Meanwhile, the General Knowledge, which includes current affairs and English, will have 24 questions each. All questions in the MH CET Law 5-year LLB will be objective, and the exam duration will be 2 hours.

The MH CET Law 3 year LLB syllabus keeps the same subjects, but the number of questions has been revised. English holds the highest weightage with 40 questions, followed by general knowledge and current affairs with 32 questions. The legal aptitude including reasoning and logical and analytical reasoning, has 24 questions each.

Mumbai University has opened its application forms, under the Department of Law, for the two-year LLM program. The portable was made accessible for the applicants from the 3rd of August, 2024, and will be open till the 12th of August, 11:55 pm.
The applicants can fill out the form via their online portable, which is linked below for your convenience. The exam conducted by the Mumbai University for their LLM program is called the LLM CET exam, which will most probably be conducted by the end week of August 2024.
There will be around 50 multiple-choice questions from different areas of law such as constitutional law, family law, administrative law, human law, etc. The exact date of the exam will be conveyed to you either by email or via their website.
