Amisha Sah 26th Jul, 2020

Dear aspirant,

If you already filled the form AILET 2020 then you dont need to apply again. To get admission in NLU, Delhi you you are required to give AILET only.

AILET is held once a year for admissions to the 5-year comprehensive (BA LLB) and LLM legal programs offered by the university. The BA LLB plan has a seat intake capacity of 70 seats to be filled on the basis of the AILET 2020 ranking. In fact, there are 10 extra seats reserved for foreign nationals to be provided through preferential entry on the basis of merit.

How to prepare GK or Current affairs? (AILET {BA LLB})

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020
It is always better to read newspaper for CURRENT G.K. than trying to grasp all info at once. Some of the newspaper sources which you can use to prepare this section are The Hindu, Financial Express, and The Economist.

In case, you dont like reading newspaper daily, you can go with Manorama Yearbook or Current Affairs Yearly by Arihant for General Knowledge which is published every year.

In order to prepare for STATIC G.K. section, you need to broaden your overall scope in following sections: Sports, Politics, Entertainment, Biographies, etc. So, for this, you can use Static General Knowledge by A.P. Bhardwaj and S. Chands Advanced Objective General Knowledge. These books are okay to start with if you are not someone with a newspaper reading habit from the past.

There are plenty of other books for these topics in the market, but these are by far the most popular as well as helpful books for anyone preparing for entrance exams

S. Saha Student Expert 6th Jun, 2020
Yes, you can appear for both All India Law Entrance Test and Common Law Admission Test. But you need to meet all the criteria for both the exams in order to appear for it. Both the exams are conducted for admission to five year integrated course and LLM program.

How prepare for ailet being a 12th std.(isc) PCM student?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 2nd Jun, 2020

Hello,

You have to take out time to prepare for entrance exam. First priority is 12th board so whenever you are in class, focus on what your teacher is teaching and make notes. when class finishes, follow up your note and if you get doubt then ask your teacher next day. keep one hour daily to cover daily home work and read class notes.

for entrance preparation:- take help of online videos if required.

  1. Start with easy subject like english which has two section language and comprehension. Take 30 mins daily.
  2. Give one hour to legal aptitute and one hour to mathematics.
  3. for general knowledge, you can watch daily updated current affairs from Youtube.

if get stuck anywhere then leave it for that day and start it next day again. take guide from teacher, friends who is good in some parts. You can get most assistance from Youtube.

while covering new chapters, take out 30 mins to practice atleast 5 question from the covered chapters.  All in all it will be 3 odd hours to prepare initially. You can extend time span as per your suitable factors.

hope it helps!

how to crack clat and ailet in 2 months?

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 28th May, 2020

Dear,

First I would suggest you to join a good coaching for CLAT preferably, to ensure that you understand the concepts of legal reasoning properly, and you have a good teacher or a senior in law school, who can help you clear your doubts in reasoning. Give at least 25–30 mock tests, and analyze them properly, recognizing your weak points. For current affairs you can refer to gktoday.in, read and re read the current affairs again and again. Maths and logical reasoning is all about practice, the more you practice the more you improve. The same goes with English, for improving your word power you can refer to word power made easy by Norman Lewis. But as you only have two months you need a rigorous practice, try to devote 7–8 hours to self study for CLAT preparation. If you are talking about studying for both CLAT and AILET simultaneously, then its difficult. But try to solve papers and have a clear understanding about the concepts.

Hope this helps! All the best.
