I have got the less than 50 percent marks in bcom so am i eligible for the exam of l.l.b??

manisha.gupta 25th Oct, 2018

There is no common entrance exam for LLB programme, If you want to know about AILET then the exam is conducted for five-year integrated law programme and LLM (Postgraduate) programmes only. Generally the universities for LLB programme require minimum 50% in Graduation but as you told that you have less than 50% in your Graduation then you can go for Symbiosis Law Pune, To get admission there you should have minimum 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T.) in one attempt (No Compartment). You can check the complete detail with the given below link.

Currently Im in class 10 I want to become judge so what I have to choose further for my studies ?

Alok Mishra 29th Sep, 2018

Hi,
I would like to one more thing in Neha's anwer "Clearing the All India Bar Examination is not a pre-requisite for entering judicial service. Further, separate examinations are prescribed for entry to the judicial services in India and you should obtain further details in this regard. Do note, however, that if eligibility to practice law or experience as an advocate are necessary prerequisites for qualification to the judiciary, you may have to successfully clear the All India Bar Examination if you have graduated from the academic year 2009-2010 onwards."

I hope it helps!

Which are the best books preparing for CLAT,AILET and other BA LLB entrances ? Especially subject wise.

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 24th Sep, 2018
Hey.
GK - For static you can refer to the Concised size Pearson or the Arihants guide.
For current affairs, first of all develop a habit to read newspapers daily. The Hindu is the newspaper preferred by various CLAT/ AILET Aspirants.
There is a site called GK today.in which you can go to for current affairs. They have daily quizes based on current affairs which has been proved very usefull for law entrances  preparation.
English - For Vocabulary you can refer the Word Power Made Easy. You will come across various words while reading the newspaper too, prepare a list, go through them regularly and try to use them in sentences. You should read the Editorial section of the Hindu for your Reading as well as Vocabulary section of CLAT/AILET
For grammar you can use the Wren & Martin.
Mathematics - For Quantitative aptitude by RS Aggarwal. Other than that previous year question papers and Arihant/ Universal guide migh help too.
Legal Aptitude - Universals guide to CLAT and LLB, Pearson CLAT Guide are considered the best.
Logical Reasoning - RS Aggarwal
Make sure that you go through the past year question papers and practice them along with sample papers.
If you are planning to take any coaching in institutes like Career launcher, Bulls eye etc then their reading material covers all aspects. You can refer the books listed above in case you need separate books for any or all the sections.
Best of luck!

Which is the best law college for a delhiite...I mean between jamia, nlsiu Banglore,University school of law and legal studies GGSIP , AILET

Sanjali Shukla 14th Feb, 2022

Hi,

Hope you are well.

See, If you are asking best law college for a delhiite, that means I am assuming, you want to study law in Delhi only.

If only in Delhi, the best law colleges are-

1. NLU Delhi, for that you need to crack Ailet.

2. Jamia Milia Islamia- It has its own exams and procedure

3. GGSIPU- you need to crack IPUCET or they also take admission based on your clat scores, high reservations for Delhi-NCR students.

Now, if you are talking about best law colleges as in general-

1.NLSIU Bangalore- Top most NLU and best.

2. NLU Delhi

3. Jamia Milia Islamia

4. GGSIPU

Hope it helps, thanks.

I am in 12(commerce) and i aim to clear clat as well as ailet is it possible to clear both. And if yes then how to register for these exams.

rishika goyal 4th Nov, 2018

Hello Grishma, you can definitely clear both if you would work really hard for it. AILET exam is something that is getting tougher and tougher wach time. But it doesn't mean that we can't crack it! Just proper amount of time and toil will get us the amazing results. Though both CLAT and AILET are law exams but their strategy for preparation is a bit different.

clat or du llb or ailet me kya diffrance he ?......

Anonymous 24th Jul, 2018

Hii

It is different in all the aspects. Similarity lies that all are for LAW studies. CLAT is basically a course after 12th for 5 year LLB program. You need 45% in 12th to apply for this exam. There is max age limit to 20 years for General.

DU-LLB is for 3 year LLB program after graduation. You need 50% in graduation to apply for this exam. There is no maximum age limit criteria as such defined. Preparation for both can be done with a book in general named as universal guide.

In AILET is for 5 year LLB program-Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in his/her qualifying degree. There is no age bar to appear in AILET 2019 as per the Supreme Court’s stay on age bar in 2017.

All the best.
