Hi Sanjana!
It's great to see you on our platform.
If you have already completed your graduation and if you are willing to make a career in legal studies then you can write the LLB entrance exams of various universities like Delhi University, Maharashtra University, Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University, Osmania University etc.
I'll tell you the difference between CLAT and LLB entrance examinations.
CLAT is for students who have only cleared their Class XII boards recently. Clearing CLAT enables the student to study for 5 years to get dual degrees of either BA LLB or BSc LLB or BCom LLB depending upon the students choice of subject of Arts, Science or Commerce in Class XI-XII.
LLB is for graduate students. Basically, LLB entrance examinations can be written by anyone who has a graduation degree in any subject from any recognised university. Post graduates can obviously apply for the same. LLB is a 3 years course on completion of which you get the LLB degree.
So as you are already a graduate it will be better for you to write the LLB entrance examinations of various universities.
I'm attaching the link of Delhi University's LLB entrance exams for further information:

Hi,As you are from Telangana, keeping that thing in mind it will be alot easier for you to secure you a seat at NALSAR Hyedrabad. If you have secured a CLAT Rank between 1-53 then you can be 100% sure that you are going to get a seat in NLISU or NALSAR as per your liking. But if your rank is 54, assuming you are from UR category, then in that scenario if all 53 candidates ranked above you decide to take admission in NLSIU Bangalore then you can get a seat in any NLU but not at NLSIU because as of now there are only 53 seats in BA LLB Honours programme for General Category quota. If your CLAT Rank is beyond 1-134 range then you can rest assure to get a seat at NALSAR. If your rank is out of this range then your chance will depend on various permutation and combination.I hope it helps!
Dear student,
Greetings.
Definitely yes, CLAT score is mandatory to get admission into B.A. , LL.B. and B.B.A., LL.B programs in Narsee Monjee School of Law. The eligibility criteria for getting admission is that candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam. Candidates must hold International Baccalaureate diploma in any stream from a recognized board at the first attempt and must score 50 % aggregate marks. There is no specific rank or cut-off to get admission in the university but if your CLAT rank is well within 3,500, you have a good shot at it.
Wish you all the best, I hope this helps!
Dear Niraaliagarwal,
The minimum score usually required in PG CLAT depends on the highest, lowest and average marks scored by the candidates. It also depends on the number of candidates who appeared for the exam and the previous year's cutoff trend.
