How to prepare for CLAT pg? I am currently in LL.B fourth year. Kindly guide. I want to crack CLAT,19 in my first attempt

bhavya banthia 24th Jun, 2018

How should I prepare for CLAT LLM examination.?

A2A.

Before Proceeding to answer let me tell you the Exam Pattern of the Exam.

CLAT PG online paper comprised a total of 150 questions carrying maximum marks of 150, wherein each question would be of one mark. The 150 questions would be asked majorly from three sections including Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, other legal topics – Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, Family Law, Property Law, Intellectual Property Law, etc.

Now come to the strategy section. In order to perform good in the exam follow these things.

  1. Create a practical study plan. It’s always good to have a perfect study plan. Without a good study plan, you won’t be able to score good.
  2. Make a list. Make a list of what you’ve to study and what not. You’ve to crack the entrance not research.
  3. Break up of time. Make a strategy of how much time you need for a particular section. It’s important to do so.
  4. Prepare notes. Make your notes in your own style. If you’ll ask for my suggestion, I’ll suggest you for Bullet Points.
  5. Plan your own Exam strategy. I’ve seen any students copying others’ strategy, Don’t do that. That’s man to man thing.
  6. Train your mind for the exam. Train your mind to cope up with Anxiety and over excitement.
  7. Practice previous years question papers. By solving previous year papers you’ll learn about the type of questions they will throw at you.
  8. Time management. Time is precious. Maximum people sitting in the examination hall can solve all those questions, but very few could do that in limited time and those you can do that in limited time, they’ll make their way to NLUs.
  9. Make your own way to approach the question. Once again I’ll say, It’s a man to man thing. Prepare your own.

Now let me tell you the main formula to crack this exam (This is not mine, one of my teacher asked me to follow this).

The formula is MMA.
