if we pass clat with rank 1 then can we study free in nlus

monag2673 3rd Sep, 2024

Yes, if you secure Rank 1 in the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), you can study for free at any National Law University (NLU) in India.

This is a privilege granted to the top-ranking candidate in the CLAT as a reward for their exceptional performance. The scholarship typically covers the entire tuition fees and other mandatory charges associated with the law program.

However, it's important to note that while tuition fees are waived, you may still need to cover other expenses such as hostel accommodation, mess charges, and personal expenses. Additionally, the specific terms and conditions of the scholarship may vary slightly from one NLU to another.

To ensure you receive the full benefits of the scholarship, it's advisable to contact the NLU you plan to attend directly after securing Rank 1 in the CLAT. They can provide you with detailed information about the scholarship and any additional requirements or procedures that may be involved.

I got preparatory st rank 1244 can i get IIT college

kumardurgesh1802 26th Sep, 2024

Hello student,

With a ST preparatory rank of 1244 , your chances of securing admission to an IIT through the preparatory course are relatively slim, especially for popular branches like Computer Science. The number of seats available in preparatory courses is limited, and typically, the cutoff ranks can be much lower.

However, it's important to consider the following:

  1. Check Previous Year Trends : Look at the cutoff ranks for preparatory courses in IITs from previous years to gauge your chances better.

  2. Participate in Counseling : Make sure to participate in the counseling process. Even if the initial rounds don’t yield a seat, subsequent rounds might offer opportunities.

  3. Focus on Alternative Options : While waiting for IIT results, also explore other engineering colleges that accept JEE scores, as they may have different cutoff criteria.

Even if the chances are uncertain, staying informed and proactive in the counseling process is essential.

I would recommend you to use JEE Advanced college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

I got 510 marks in neet 2024, my catagory is obc and cataogory rank is 92295 what can i do best please suggest

kumardurgesh1802 29th Oct, 2024

Hello Yogesh,

With a NEET score of 510 in the OBC category and a category rank of 92,295, you have several options to consider:

1. Government Medical Colleges

  • Chances for MBBS : Your score might not be sufficient for government medical colleges in many states, especially in the All India quota. However, some states may have slightly lower cut-offs, so check the specific cut-offs for government colleges in your state.

  • State Quota : Focus on the state counseling process as cut-offs may vary. You might have a chance in some lower-ranked government colleges.

    2. Private Medical Colleges

  • You can explore private medical colleges, where the cut-offs tend to be lower than government colleges. The fees will be higher, so be prepared for that.

    3. Alternative Medical Courses

  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) : This is a good alternative if you're interested in holistic medicine. Cut-offs for BAMS can be lower than MBBS.

  • BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) : Similar to BAMS, BHMS could be an option if you’re interested in homeopathy.

  • BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) : This is another viable option with good career prospects.

    4. Re-evaluation

  • If you’re not satisfied with your options, consider taking a drop year to prepare for NEET again. With a structured study plan, many students improve their scores in the second attempt.

    5. Consulting with Experts

  • Speak with a career counselor or mentors in the medical field. They can provide personalized advice based on your interests and goals.

    Next Steps

  • Research Colleges : Look into colleges that match your score and category.
  • Participate in Counseling : Stay updated with the counseling dates and procedures to maximize your chances of admission.

By exploring these options, you can make an informed decision on your next steps.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

My Clat AIR is 21000 and SC catogary rank is 1173 KA domacile

G PAVAN KUMAR 27th Nov, 2024

Analysis of the previous year's CLAT question paper reveals that scoring 90 or above was considered a good score in CLAT 2024 for general category candidates to secure admissions in the top three NLUS. For SC/ST categories, a score of 60-70 marks was deemed good What is a good rank for CLAT? A: Students who wish to be admitted to th s university should strive for a score of roughly 70% (80-84 marks) or above under the revised pattern. Because the CLAT cut-off marks are lower for reserved categories, a rank of about 4000 would be suitable for admission. What does a rank of 3000 in CLAT mean? A rank of 3000 places you in the middle range of candidates. While it's better than many, it may limit your options for top-tier law schools, depending on their admission cutoffs Scores obtained in CLAT 2024 are accepted by prestigious National Law Universities (NLUs) participating in the exam. For the general category, a score in the range of 75-85 is considered good for securing admissions in the top NLUS
