Yes you can apply for CLAT. It will take longer but now that you have done BA, you just have to do LLB and its durantion will the shorter to the combined BALLB course which is for 5 years. You can prepare and appear for CLAT after BA

Appearing for CLAT exam has nothing to do with you being a commerce or Science student. If you are serious join a coaching institute and they will teach you legal aptitude in a detailed way. Other than that you can just buy books and study from them. I
