It's a prediction.We are 95% sure about it.But 5% it may go wrong according to some circumtances such as no.of students available for exams,difficulty of paper etc..It's a prediction based on previous year statstics.

Hey does the individual subject marks matter in clat paper?

There are no such sectional cutoffs in CLAT. Your overall scores determine which college you'll get. Moreover if there's a clash during the admissions process, for example two students have received the same marks but only single seat is there in the college then your score in the legal aptitude

With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 5900-7200. If you fall in general category then I'm afraid you have less chances of getting an NLU or a college under IPU but you can definitely check out these colleges. They will also offer you a good opportunity

With the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere between 1500-2300. If you fall in OBC category then you definitely have a chance in NUALS Kochi as their closing rank for OBC students lies somewhere near 2500. Apart from that you have chances in other NLUs like NUSRL Ranchi,
