Regards.
On such rank in CLAT 2022 you can try for some private law colleges that take admission on the basis of CLAT score because any of the government college like NLUs are tad difficult on such rank
Note that above prediction is based on previous year's data of cut-offs of different institutions and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon the various factors which keeps on varying every year.
So don't assume it as final call. You should appear for seat allotment process.
And you can get all details about CLAT seat allotment process from the link given below :-

Candidates can apply for the CLAT counselling through the official website-- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The last to register for the CLAT counselling 2022 is June 27. As per the schedule, the first provisional merit list of CLAT counselling will be released on June 30, while the second provisional merit list will be released on July 7, and third provisional merit list will be on July 12.
The CLAT 2022 result (https://www.ndtv.com/education/clat-result-2022-out-at-consortiumofnlus-ac-in-direct-link-websites-to-check) was announced on June 24. Candidates can download the result by using their registered mobile number and password at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

So to summarize;
Only those candidates who successfully complete the counselling registration process will be considered for the allotment of seat. https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-counselling
Based on the analysis of previous year's cut-off and keeping some other factors in mind you can have chances in following colleges :-
But note that above list is just a prediction based on previous year's data of cut-offs of different institutions and these cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon the various factors such as
-->> Total number of candidates appeared in the CLAT 2022 entrance exam
-->> Difficulty level of Paper
-->> Top score
-->> The seat intake for the 5-year LLB / LLM program
-->> Total candidates from reservation categories (SC, ST, etc.)
-->> Previous year's cutoff trends
So don't assume it as final admission call from any institute. You will have to appear for seat allotment process.
Hi Kalpana,
The Counselling process of CLAT is mostly an automated process. Each year, the NLU consortium calls FIVE times the number of seats available in every category. Furthermore, the CLAT conducts five counseling rounds, and only those are called where subsequent vacancies arise for that category. Coming back to the present question, if a candidate has not been invited for round 1, they may wait for the subsequent four rounds, where vacancies could arise, and they may be called in. The student does not have to register for such subsequent rounds.
Thanks
hello, considering your rank in CLAT 2022 and after analyzing the cut-off patterns of past year's exams, i can say your best option to pursue your law career is through private institutes as getting admission in a NLU with this rank is almost impossible.
There are some top-notch private institutes in India that offer a law degree with great placement records and a high rated faculty that allows you to have an inspiring law career.

Hi Khushi,
CLAT 2023 is supposed to be held on December 23, 2022 . It is the first time CLAT has had two examinations in the same year. Every year, students write CLAT around May-June, and results are announced in a month or so, i.e., by the end of June or July. Following this, the batch of that year goes through the counseling session immediately after the results are announced. The respective university calls in the students by the end of July, and the new semester usually begins by August (for most of the NLUs).
CLAT 2023 is no exception, barring the exam is to be conducted in December from the usual May-June period. CLAT 2023 will follow the same pattern, and the answer key, followed by the result, will be announced in a month. The students will be called in for counseling sessions in January. However, there is no clarity on when the new semester will begin; it is safe to assume that the same will commence in August.
Hi Ruchi,
CLAT releases the ranking of students, both the general rank and any other quota rank if applied by the student at the time of registration, on its official website. A student can easily check their ranking by logging in to the official website, where both the general rank and the applied quota rank of the student are available. For doing so:
1) visit the official website: https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/
2) click on CLAT 2023 and enter the registered mobile number and password.
3) Download the scorecard to check your rank.
Or you can simply visit https://law.careers360.com/articles/clat-result and enter the required details to check your result.
Hello aspirant!
It is always difficult to predict cut-offs as these depend on a number of factors such as the difficulty of the examination paper, the number of applicants who applied, the number of applicants who appeared, any change in the number of total seats etc.
However, you can look at previous year trends to get some idea. This is only predictive. According to the previous year cutoffs, it is difficult to get admission in any National Law University with a rank of 3470 (general category) .
However, a number of private universities do take admission based on CLAT ranks and you can try there. For example: Nirma or NMIMS can be a good fit.
For more information, you can follow the link that I have posted below.
I hope this helps! Best of luck!
