No, you dropping a second year for CLAT will not affect your placements in any manner. Your placements will be affected by the College you are in, your internships, academics, research papers, moots and more.

The score required to crack the CLAT exam would differ each year due to various reasons like level of paper, marking etc. In the previous few years the minimum score required was 120 in a year, in one year it was above 110, in another it was above 140.
No, current affairs will be from past 3 years across all sectors from Politics, Sports, Corporate etc. Students csn refeer to Jagranjosh website for Gk and Also Manorama Book. Studnets should also read latest newspapers and be aware of recent news featuring in TV News Channel for indepth information.
Students with age of 21 can also apply so np issues whatsoever in age for next year attempts. However going for year drop can be risky as this will create gap and you should also take up sone internships to fillup gap.
