Give mocks to know your current the level of preparation. You will come to know about your strong and weak areas and then strategise accordingly

If you are already pursuing your Undergraduation, then you cannot give CLAT. CLAT is an entrance test for admission into NLUs for a 5 year integrated law courses which combine your undergraduate degree and LLB like BA LLb, Bcom LLb, BBA LLb etc.

As current affairs are same, there is no big difference in both magazines. But I feel pratiyogita darpan to be better for CLAT. And you can buy them from nearly every local book store in every city.
