Yes, you can prepare for other exam as well.
CLAT is conducted annually by National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to their undergraduate 5 yeras Law programmes (BA LLB, B.Com LLB and B.Sc. LLB).

You can appear for AILET, IPUCET LLB, BLAT (BHU LLB), LSAT, Christ University Law, ULSAT, JMI

Hi, Because the age bar has been removed recently you can apply in CLAT for 5 year LLB that is BALLB and in DU for 3 year LLB that is after graduation. Good Luck.

how many rounds are there in clat admission process. what if i did not get a seat in first cutoff..can i hope in second?

@Amina: Every year the cutoff is different so can't really assure you on this. But as per some approx data till the rank 10-12k for all categories it went till the 4th round. Hope this helps you

I hope you are doing well. I would like you to know that CLAT is conducted by CONSORTIUM OF NLUs in the month of May every year . If there is no hindrance.

It releases its results in the the month of JUNE . Two weeks is required

Suppose I get less marks in CLAT and i am alloted with a NLU in low last rank. what to do then..should I prefer those ones?

Shristhi: NLU's don't have any ranking but yes what you can do is try achieving the NLU which are old in establishment. There are students who have taken NLU's in low rank and later dropped out from there. So you should aim at top ones instead.

@Mihir: Here are some tips you can follow- Go through Previous Year Papers, Refer to magazines as they are specifically available in the market for GK and Current affairs.Under GK you need to select your strong areas first and prepare them quite thoroughl

@George: There are 2 things to keep in mind- First is age. As Mihir said, age criteria is back so if you are 20 years or below-general category then you are eligible. Second thing- You should have 45% in your 12th class overall. If you meet both then yes

@Tulika: See it depends on the cutoff as well. The safe score you can consider is 145 above if from open category. Because 2016 cutoff was really high and it has a scope to go high next year as well. Even if it goes to 170-180, 145 will land you
