Answer: Manipal Law School strives for a paradigm shift in the field of legal education. Our goal is to create a holistic community of teachers and learners in a conducive and sustainable ecosystem. MLS is committed to its Vision and Mission and strives for the attainment of the aspirational goals.

Eligibility | Candidates must have passed the 12 grade or Std. XII at the HSC/ISC/ CBSE/ State Boards in any stream (Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences & Management) with a minimum of 50% score from any recognized Board in India. Candidates writing the +2 examinations in the academic year 2022-2023 will be given provisional admission on the condition that they obtain a minimum 50% score. Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits. Answer: LLM (Blended Learning Mode) is a Work Integrated Learning programme for Working Professionals. Industry designed and Industry taught curriculum which will give you the crucial insights and skills. It is a recognized Master’s degree with live online classes and examinations to enable you to fast-pace your career or make a switch. Three days of immersion opportunity per semester is there, where the candidate will get a chance to connect with fellow professionals at campus.

Answer: Selection Criteria for UG - Students scored 50% or above in XII standard in any recognized board in India can fill up the application. Candidates will then be selected based on a personal interview conducted by a panel of faculty/ experts.
Selection Criteria for PG - LLB or equivalent degree in law examination with a minimum of 50% marks. Eligible candidates may fill up the application and final selection will be based on a personal interview conducted by a panel of faculty/ experts.

Careers360: Can you give insights on the type of internships that students do during the course?
Answer: There are dedicated internships of 8 weeks every academic year for each undergraduate Law Program of which 4 weeks of internships in an Academic Year is mandatory. A total of 20 weeks of internships in five Academic Years is compulsory as per BCI. However, at MLS students are provided with 10 mandatory internships with 100% support from Manipal Law School. Initial internships will be in diverse areas of legal field like NGO, under HC/SC advocates, Under Judicial Officers, Corporate Firms. 4th and 5th year internships would focus on the areas of students interest and their specializations.
Careers360: Please throw some light on the types of companies that come for placements?
Answer: Manipal Law School is quite new since its inception and hence none of the batch passed out yet.
Careers360: How is the industry connection developed and incorporated into the programmes?
Answer: Industry connect is assured to all UG and PG students through numerous events conducted at Manipal Law School by inviting eminent personalities from different sectors of legal field. Secondly, UG students are sent on internship after every semester to get the practical exposure of the law field, whereas PG students are in constant contact with industry professionals as the PG Programmes at MLS are designed by industry personnels and will be taught by industry experts only.
Careers360: What would your message be to law aspirants when it comes to choosing an institute and course?
Answer: Manipal Law School does provide a curriculum which could be navigated by students themselves and in the inter-disciplinary environment at MAHE, students will get ample choices of subjects to study from other departments and to study legal aspects of that specialization at the law department. Secondly, we are the only law school focusing on niche areas and giving specialized UG and PG degrees in fields like data privacy and information technology.
