    The Consortium of National Law Universities has released the CLAT 2026 third merit list on February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM. This is a big relief for CLAT students, as recently a case was filed against the CLAT 2026 final answer key in the Allahabad High Court. The CLAT 2026 third merit list was put on hold, and the consortium was instructed to revise the CLAT 2026 result, potentially changing the ranks of the aspirants. As a result of the recent hearing, the division bench of the Allahabad High Court has put a stay on this order. Now, the consortium has released the third merit list. It released a notification on its official website regarding the same.

    Payment of Confirmation Fee to Consortium for Freeze and Float options and Admission by NLUs for the Third Allotment List

    Payment of University Fee (after adjusting for Confirmation Fee and Counselling Registration Fee) to NLU concerned for all candidates who have chosen the Freeze Option in the counselling process for First, Second & Third Allotment Lists (first, second & third rounds of counselling)

    Important Update on CLAT 2026 Counselling Process

    The consortium has specified in the recent notification that the dates for the upcoming CLAT 2026 counselling round will remain the same. This means that the CLAT 2026 fourth merit list will be released on May 2, 2026. The CLAT 2026 fifth merit list will be declared on May 15, 2026. Moreover, there will be no change in the seats allotted in the CLAT 2026 first and second merit lists.

    How to Download CLAT 2026 Third Merit List?

    The consortium releases the CLAT 2026 merit list on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to download the CLAT 2026 third merit list online.

    • Visit the official website of the consortium.

    • Log in using the registered mobile number and password.

    • Click on the 'Allotment Status' tab

    • Check the details and download the CLAT 2026 provisional allotment letter.

    SASTRA Deemed University accepts CLAT scores for admission. They admit students based on CLAT scores as well as class 12 marks, with an aggregate score of 50% in English. Based on these scores, a merit list is published by the university.
