The eligibility criteria for All India Bar Examination requires you to have a degree in law which is LLB and also you dont need to be registered in a state bar council:

So as a general practice a law graduate who has enrolled under a state bar council can practice law without clearing AIBE for 2 years. You will have to appear for the AIBE exam after your registration with the state council and clear it within 2 years to continue
