All India Bar Examination
Dear SB,
BCI only issues the certificate of practice, once a candidate clears the All India Bar Examination. So, in nutshell, provided you are registered/enrolled with a state bar council, you can appear for the AIBE and thereby get the Certificate of Practice issued to you by the BCI.
The exam is conducted twice a year and there is no limit to the number of times you can appear for the exam.
Would be glad to answer any followup queries.
Hope that gives some clarity.
Good Luck!
HiiAs per previous year trends the cutoff for general category was 38marks out of 100.There are 100 questions with 1 mark each, and no negative marking is done. So if you answer more than half of the questions, lets say 70 questions and almost all will be correct because its an open book exam, you will be allowed to use your books. SO, we can say you can get maximum 70 marks. I believe 70 is good score to get what you want. Since there is no negative marking i would suggest you not to leave any question. You can refer to following inks for more details and sample papers.https://law.careers360.com/articles/aibe-exam-patternhttps://law.careers360.com/articles/aibe-sample-papersPrepare well and do good. All the best
