My rank is 89 and score is 127 I m from army category what are the chances

Souparni Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019

Hello Vaibhav,

Assuming that your caste category is General, the cutoff score this year for a General category student is 72.75. And considering your score, you have very good chances of getting a seat in the affiliated colleges. It also depends on the number of seats available and the number of qualifying candidates. But still, you seem to have a pretty good chance.

All the Best!

What is the cutoff for army cat this year ?

shruti jha Student Expert 16th Jun, 2019

Hi Kritika,

If you are aware of the eligibility criteria for applying into any army management B-schools then it requires the following :-

1. Atleast 50% in 10+2

2. Atleast 50 percentile in any of the relevant entrance exam like cat.

So if you scores around 50-55 percentile in your cat exam then you are eligible for applying in aim or aimt like institutions.

Then, if we talk about cutoff percentile then also it has to match with the required eligibility criteria all though. Also, by analysing the previous years cutoff of diffeent army colleges its average cutoff goes to 60 percentile for some subjects& 50 percentile for others.

This year also, institute of kolkata has it's cutoff as 50 percentile and institue of noida hss 60 to 60 percentiles.

But after this, candidates also have to score around 50% in their interviews round.

Good luck.

Erica 15th May, 2019

Hello Shagun,

I am sorry to say this but it's not possible to get previous years sample papers for Army Institute of Law, Mohali because of security reasons. The army retains secrecy of the papers therefore, as soon as the exam is finished, the OMR sheets are taken along with the question papers. You can still go through the syllabus and prepare for the exam accordingly. You can also practice other law sample papers and get a fair idea of the expected questions in a law exam. Good Luck!
