Let me tell you if you are P.G Category student then for IPU Law Colleges your rank in clat is good tO get any law colleges under.If you are delhite candidate but if you are from outside delhi then you may not get seat in any good colleges,in IPU 85% seats are reserved for only delhite candidate,and rest of 15% are for outside delhi or all india candidate student.

with this marks in CLAT for PG LLM program.This score is quite better than average but,as a general category your chances will be low for good colleges,nut you have Chances of getting any colleges with this rank,don't be worry about it all we will be fine.you may get a seat if vaccant in any good NLU.

all top NLU (it will be little tough you are from general category) . So you
have very high chance of securing good course in 2nd round of counselling else
last round counselling is all yours :)

yoU are  a general candidate (for
reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and
trends you will definitely get assured seat in tier 2 NLUs Though it will tough
for getting seat in top ones still you have hope and you have to wait till last
round for getting top colleges .

Hi Prakash,

National law Universities are prestigious universities which opens many gates for their students. Getting in an NLU is an achievement in itself. Since, they are such high ranked law schools, their cutoffs are also expected to go high.

This year's 1st and 2nd merit lists have been released, but with these marks you don't have much of a chance of getting in NLU. If you really wish to get in NLU then you should give CLAT next year and score high enough to get in NLU. Otherwise you can check out other colleges except NLUs.

The closing rank for NLU Jodhpur is somewhat around 232 and RGNLU Patiala the closing rank is 325 so it seems difficult for you to get into any of this

Acc to previous years cut off analysis which is subjective as cut off's change every year depending upon a no of factors such as no of aspirants,level of difficulty of clat pg this year etc etc so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity last year cut of rank for general category in RMNLU was 462 so you might not have chances here if we look at previous years cut off's which change every year BUT cut off for GNLU for general category was 760 so you may have good chances here.

Congratulation you do pretty well and it is a good thing, they are a good possibility you may get a seat.

But the problem is NLU has seats around 2600. So the chances you have less than 50%.

Try it maybe you get but take backups also seek other good LAW colleges also.

As per the tentative schedule and past year trends, generally the classes for LLM at all National law Universitites are started after the admission rounds and counsellings of all rounds of admission are over. It takes around a month to wind up the post examination and admission process. Since the results were declared on 14June2019 and the last date i.e 20july2019 till which the final statuses of all the selected candidates will be declared is scheduled, the session for 2019-2020 for llm will tentatively commence from the beginning of August.
